Okay, so there are a lot of pubs in Ottawa. And Pen Dragon is one of them. How does it differentiate itself? Pen Dragon has a lot of live bands playing, which, believe it or not, is not that common in Ottawa. Sure, some bars have open mic night or a guy with a guitar belting out Andrew Cash songs. But, big live shows? Not too many. Anyhow, it is a great place to hang or hang and catch a show. Their food is typical pub fare and they serve the usual suspects on draft. And, not to be outdone, there is a stand-​up comedy place down in the basement. So, a great place to spend some time. Finally proof that the Pen is mightier than the sword!
