Located in Nanaimo, we have customers throughout Vancouver Island. We consider ourselves your one-​stop shop for every computer need that you have, whether it’s buying a new PC system, improving your existing network, helping you back up your important files and data, solve computer problems or provide outsourced IT services for small and medium-​sized Island businesses. We can do it all! We know that computers can be difficult and frustrating. Our job at Micro-​Vision is to remove those uncertainties and replace them with confidence and satisfaction. Locally owned and operated, our staff has more than 60 years of combined hands-​on computer and network experience under their belts. We will answer all your questions and put you in control of your computer and your important data.

History

Established in 1983.

Micro-​Vision is Nanaimo’s oldest computer business. The business has been locally owned and operated by Randy and Diane Ferguson since day one. Micro-​Vision is a brick and mortar business with a retail storefront. We began as a retailer of home and small business computers and offered brands like Kaypro, Osborne, Texas Instruments, Atari and Commodore. We started building desktop computer systems and servers under our Micro-​Vision brand name in 1992 and added custom-​built notebook (laptop) computers to our product lineup in 2006. We began selling and supporting Sage BusinessVision software in 1992. In 2012, we added all-​in-​one and small form factor PCs to our custom-​built offerings.
