History

Established in 1991.

J. A. Smith & Associates Inc, CGA, CFP (JAS) began offering accounting and tax services on February 1, 1991 with a goal to provide exceptional customer service. The firm was built on a strong infrastructure and leading edge technology. Staff training and quality control of products and services, including an obsession to maintain excellent customer service, from the foundation of the practice’s principles. In 2000, J.A. Smith & Associates became the eighth accounting firm in Canada designated as ISO Certified, an International Standard for Quality Control, and is currently certified under ISO 2008.

Planning and a view toward achieving the goals and objectives of our clients is first and foremost in delivery of our service, whether providing personal or corporate services.
