Glamour Lounge

Jen the owner of Glamour Lounge is an outstanding hair dresser! I have been going to her for the last 2 years after moving from another province and was nervous about finding a good hairdresser in nanaimo. I consider myself fortunate to have found such a jewel. Jen is an experienced and very professional hairdresser. I always listen to her sounds advices. She has never failed to cover my stubborn gray hair, thin my hair and shape them in a style that suits me. I couldn’t be more please with her service and all of this for a reasonable price. The salon is now offering spa service which add to the convenience when you need a pedicure or manicure.

Visited on Fri June 5 daytime for a mens haircut. This is a brand new salon just opened in June. From the outside it looks like a normal house, it has been renovated and looks very nice inside. The owner and master stylist Jen works there, there is a junior stylist Robyn with blue hair, there are also 2 staff that do the spa services likes mani, pedis and massage. I walked in without an appointment and was seen within 10 minutes. Haircuts starts at $ 12 children, $ 20 for men and $ 30 for women depending on who cuts your hair. The junior stylist is less than the master stylist.
My only suggestion is for them to get a full-​time receptionist fast, as my haircut was interrupted 3 times: Robyn took payment for another customer’s haircut, there was a phone call and then a new customer walked in and she greeted them. Other than that I was very satisfied with my haircut and will come again. Parking is limited to about 4 – 6 cars on the driveway or the side of the road.
