Good, well-priced drinks, and hilarious comedy. it doesn’t get any better! The venue itself is very cute. You walk in, and there is a cozy bar/lounge area, and the comedy show is in a new-york city style room(think exposed brick and seating close to the comedian). The owner and staff are all so friendly and attentive, and really make you feel at home. It’s hard to find many bars, restaurants etc that still have that independently owned, not just out for profits kind of feel, and this is definitely one of those gems. My only complaint is I wish I had gone sooner! I will definitely go back.

Place rating: 5 Montreal, Canada
I met this brown guy comedian last summer at the just for laughs. He told me that Amy Poehler was his boss. And that he was pere opening a yuk yuk in Montréal. My uncle knows the manager David and organized a family outing. I like the décor of the stage is small but it has good air circulation. The audience is very mixed couples, families; all ages; mixed culture. This place is way better than the others yuk yuk and other comedy hot spots that I visited in in the West Coast Vancouver and Palo Alto. West coast has better weather but the East Coasr has the comedy scene down. This is a great venue to see new and up and coming comedians and be exposed to a new unique je né sais pas quoi sense of humor. Its a fun good time and a great way to spend a Friday night with your family.
