For those seeking a massage: this is a truly wonderful place. My usual masseuse is out of town, so I followed her recommendation of Lotus Palm. I wasn’t sure which massage to choose, so without much investigation I selected the Signature — which is a fairly light, non-intrusive, clothes-free massage involving some flexibility and yoga stuff. Upon meeting my masseuse, Claude, I was told that this would not be a deep massage, which initially bummed me out a bit. I tend to prefer deep-tissue therapeutic massages, since the lighter ones often feel sort of superficial and weak. But I was happily surprised by Claude: he is simply amazing. True to his words, I was totally relaxed by the end of the massage — it was simply perfect. Yes, it was ‘smooth,’ but I still felt much of my stress ebbing, and the stretching and oil were great for loosening my incredibly tense muscles. For those who might be a bit squeamish: this is a full-body massage, clothing optional, and it’s intimate. But I also found that to be fine, and I will certainly be back for another.

I enjoyed a fantastic Thai yoga massage with Claude this morning. He was super-thorough with his intake before we started. The treatment was great value for the money — they offer 90 minute treatments for the price of a 60 minute session on Mondays. After we wrapped up Claude spent a few extra minutes with me, explaining some continuing healthcare strategies. It was great not feeling rushed or like a number. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Montréal. Thank you!

I am quite dissappointed with Lotus Palm Management. 1. I came in with my 7 certificate I bought few years ago. 2. Even though it had expiration date on it, I was told at the time I purchased this they can work something out if some emergency came up. *The emergency was that I had an injury to my spine and I had to be treated immediately where I had to be flown to USA for treatments. I had intensive treatments for 2 years straight and 2 years after for mental therapy from loss and injury. 3. I didn‘t know they changed hands and owners have been bought out, this is not of my concern. 4. The receptionist even recognized that purchased certificate should not have an expiration and that I should even be honoured for my certificate. 5. I preferred to have spoken to the manager personally because I have offered to the receptionist that I am willing to pay a fee to re-activate my expired certificate. 6. I understand presenting seven certificate is intimidating for any management to redeem such lost on their end but it was a complete lost for me = $ 400 total. 7. I bought 3 = 90 mins, 4 = 1hrs which in total = $ 375. 8. I am willing to offer $ 100 re-activation fee to atleast redeem $ 275 worth of services. 9. These were purchased for gifts and for myself on physical treatment but I was rushed for intensive care that even all my items were left behind, including gift certificates. 10. I expect the management and owner to work with me and come up with a solution. 11. I left very unhappy as the receptionist mentioned I could not see the manager after they written all over my certificate. 12. I would like this to be resolved as I not only would want to recommend this facility to others anymore, but that I am a Yogi Practitioner, Meditational Therapist, Business Owner myself and TCM naturopathist.
