I love this hidden gem in Clarkson!
Croissants are to die for!
I got the bf a ham and cheese, I ate a pear and Gruyère cheese croissants — I could easily gained 300 lbs just eating different kinds!
I love eating their cookies, if you love macadamia nut — you will not be disappointed! Choc chip are delicious.
Biscottis were ok — nice rich coffee chocolate flavour with cranberry and choc drizzle. I’m sure this varies, so be sure to check!
I love their chicken pot pies as well.
Ahh, so nice to have a wonderful variety in the neighbourhood. :)

I keep coming back to this bakery and I’m never disappointed! Love the new reno. The place looks clean and authentic. I wish they would start baking bread :)

Really delicious cakes. Reasonable prices. So far had the strawberry shortcake and chocolate mousse. Both were great! I think once we had a cupcake too. Also good. Highly recommended and I’m picky about cakes.

Although I’m not a huge fan of their croissants (Patisserie D’Or in Oakville is the absolute best in my opinion!), Le Delice is my favourite spot for anything ELSE that’s baked. The Black Forest Cake & Lemon Tart are to die for.
TIP: Call ahead to avoid disappointment is the name of the game. They are super busy and often times, everything sells out!

Located in the same plaza as Battaglia’s, in the pretty neighbourhood of Lorne Park, is Le Delice Pastry Shop. Pastry Shop is accurate as you won’t find hustle ‘n bustle about the place on a Saturday morning, no hot table, or freshly baked breads.
Most, if not all, of the items are behind glass in showcases. Although there were bagels and plain croissants in baskets, on the counter.
I checked this place out based on John C’s review of them having the «best croissants». Looking back, I wished that I had just gotten a plain croissant ($ 1.50ea) as opposed to a chocolate ’cause I only noticed the plain ones as I was being cashed out. I didn’t want to sound like a pain ’cause my croissant was already in the paper bag!
Not sure if this is entirely a fair assessment, but based on the chocolate croissant ($ 2.50), I definitely would NOT crown Le Delice as having the best croissants. Whole Foods has better ones. The plain one did look flakier, but again, this is just based on appearance.
The Chocolate Croissant I had was in-​between a pastry + a bread. So the pastry itself was waaay too heavy. It also lacked that buttery-​ness that are inherent in all croissants, chocolate, plain, or other. Again, I wished that I had changed my order ’cause the plain ones looked lighter.
I wouldn’t be opposed to try something else the next time I’m in the area!

This Pastry shop will be here for a long time. Everything they have is the best cakes and croissants that I have ever had in the finest restaurants.

I’ve been searching for the best croissant and I finally decided it’s at Le Delice on Lorne Park in Mississauga (Port Credit).
They also have a lot of other great stuff.
If your on a diet stay away.
