Decided to be optimistic and try this place out despite the negative reviews. I got a basic shellac manicure for $ 25 plus tax and tip. Although not terribly expensive, the final product was still very disappointing. She did a nice job at caring for my cuticles etc however the shellac itself was poorly done. She did not finish the final product with rubbing alcohol and therefore I feel like it never fully set. It is now four days since the manicure and my nails are already chipped and peeling. They have also lost their sheen and the tips have dulled completely. I would also like to point out that I work in an office setting and none of my tasks cause any hardship to my nails. I have gotten shellac done in the past for far less that have stayed in perfect condition for over two weeks so, needless to say, I will not be going back any time soon.

I had a shellac manicure and pedicure done by Jackie. She was polite, professional and really took her time to make sure my nails looked perfect. I would highly recommend her!

If you want to go and enjoy your mani pedi, book an appointment in the morning. do not go during a rush, the job will be crappy. they also do an amazing job at waxing! fast and clean ! prices are decent.

It’s a very good place in my neighborhood and i have waxing for 2 times there. I’m very satisfied. The staff are nice and it is easy to book an appointment and go there just in time specially in morning when it’s not crowded. Ali, did my waxing today. She is quick and i felt less pain during waxing ever in Canada.

I waxed my brows here once and my brows weren’t identical. I won’t go back. I now go to Brampton and it’s cheaper. The results in Brampton are excellent. I rather drive far for sexy brows then walk two minutes for icky poo poo! 09÷18÷15: I now do my own brows at home, and done perfectly by myself. No driving necessary and payments saved.

I’m begging you don’t waste your time. I’ve been here a few times out of last minute desperation and I’m officially done. The shellac is rushed. The very next day the corners started peeling and when I went back she blamed it on me and did an even worse job fixing it. It was thick and peeled off even worse and my nails under are now paper thin. I got an eye brow wax from there too and they burned me to the point where I was scabbed for a week. Instead of going in there screaming and yelling I just hope to help others save their money and patience.

Sorry but I have to knock this back a star because, last time I went, the lady really rushed my shellac manicure and, again, missed the corners. It looked really bad — won’t go back …

I went to L V on Tuesday after reading the good reviews below. What a mistake! Not only were the prices nothing special, but the shellac manicure I got is a mess! I could have drawn better french tips myself, not to mention the bumps in the clear shellac on my nail bed. I asked for a few changes /corrections during my manicure, none of which were properly fixed. I will have to find a place that really understands quality and perhaps a bit more experience(they were all very young). Worst part is, I can’t take shellac off myself so I’ll leave it until my next manicure… SOMEPLACEELSE!

Just got a french shellac manicure done here today and I’m seriously loving it! Aly did my nails. She is very fast and professional. I would recommend to anyone near the area! It’s located near square one as well. Jean also does 3D acrylic nail art which looks amazing, I’m definitely going to have it done the next I come! Super satisfied.

Great little place. I found they had a good selection of nail polish, the massage chairs are great, the staff are quick and professional. I was in a rush and asked if they could do mani/padi at the same time and they did which was great — can squeeze into a lunch break easily! All in very happy. No issues. Not a «salon» type place but just what I needed to get my nails done.

I came here with my sister and we both got pedicures done. This salon looks very clean and well-kept, with a small seating are where you can be seated while you’re waiting for someone to help you. We did not have to wait to long to be helped 3 minutes max and we did not made an appointment in advance. They don’t have a large selection of OPI nail polish colours to choose from however, they do carry other brands such as China Glaze and overall the selection is okay. The ladies we had for both of our pedicures were polite and helpful not too harsh at scrubbing the bottom of your feet. While we got pedicures we sat in the giant massage chairs that were very relaxing. The prices were not too bad as well $ 25 for a pedicure, and $ 35 for a pedicure and a manicure. We left happy and our pedicures lasted a long time! Good service! Will be back to try other services here! :)

Was suppose to only go in for a mani($ 15) but ended up getting suckered into mani+pedi($ 35) once I saw the massage chairs — this ALWAYS happens. Not that many colour options compared to other places I’ve been but they still had a good selection. No complaints but it wasn’t spectacular or anything either, just got the job done :) My pedi lasted around 2 weeks and mani lasted about a week before starting to chip. Quick, convenient, and friendly with AWESOME massage chairs.

Choosing the right nail salon is always a tough and scary experience. I am always hesitant in checking out a new salon because I don’t know if they are clean or not. L V Nails & Spa is pretty decent. I find the staff friendly and their prices are reasonable. A manicure and pedicure is $ 35 + tax. It’s a great deal. They use OPI, Essie, China Glaze and CND. I do have to say they do excellent cuticle and buffing work. I have only been there a number of times and the staff already know me. They take walk-ins but I would recommend calling and trying to make an appointment if you want to go in on the weekends.
