History

Established in 2005.

The company’s flagship product, the invisibleSHIELD, was created by Phillip Chipping, who then formed Protective Solutions, Inc. in March 2005 and started selling the invisibleSHIELD product online, and in locally-​owned gadget retailers. The company began in a back yard shed, selling $ 200 worth of goods per day. A few months later, in September 2005 (2 weeks after Apple Inc. had released the first iPod nano) the company sent out a press release announcing their concept of offering full-​body gadget protection with a patented, clear protective film as a new alternative to bulky cases. Due to the high level of response, the company began designing full-​body invisibleSHIELDs for many different types of electronic gadgets.

ZAGG has now grown into the leader in mobile accessories. ZAGG has grown their product line to offer amazing headphones, tablet keyboards, and other «techssories» that enhance people’s mobile experience.

Meet the Business Owner

Bradley S.

Business Owner

Bradley has always had an entrepreneurial mindset. From selling pop out of his locker in grade 8 because the school banned pop to web design while going to college, Bradley has always been finding ways to earn money.

He started buying invisibleSHIELDs back in 2005 and installing them on family and friend’s gadgets. After graduating from business in college, Brad decided to contact ZAGG in 2010 and brought the very first ZAGG retail location to Canada in Richmond, BC at Richmond Centre.

In 2013, Bradley partnered with a fellow entrepreneur and investor and together they are growing in the Toronto market. Bradley is continuing to grow the business and expand into more locations. He is very passionate about gadgets and loves to share the amazing products that ZAGG has developed to enhance everyone’s mobile experience.
