Yogurty’s Box Grove

Great place for a family. Always clean and fresh. Friendly staff at Boxgrove location. Would’ve been 5 stars if there restroom had a step stool for the younger ones

I love frozen yogurt and Yogurty’s is a great new option. They appear to be expanding quickly with a number of new locations in Markham. This specific location recently opened in the box grove plaza. This was also my first visit to a Yogurty’s and have to say I LOVE it.
This location is owned by a family and they are incredibly friendly. As soon as we arrived, the owners took the time to explain the concept. The show you the different sizes, the multiple flavours and all the toppings. They did this for every single customer. When we left, they thanked us for coming and asked us if we enjoyed our yogurt.
They had about 10 different yogurt flavours which regularly rotate. You can combine the different flavours since you make your own «creation». After the yogurt is in your cup, you add as many toppings as you like. I enjoyed the brownie bites and cherries. You can stay healthy and just add fresh fruits to your yogurt (or just get fat free frozen yogurt).
You pay based on weight. Obviously the more toppings you take, the more expensive your yogurt will be. Based on my order and the customers that followed, the average price was about $ 6 but this is for a huge portion with multiple toppings.
The yogurt was delicious treat. Creating your own frozen yogurt is a fun experience. The kids had a blast as they made their own creations. I cant speak to the customer service at other locations but they go above and beyond at the Box Grove location.

I saw an event on Unilocal about the opening of this location, so my wife and I decided to check it out. It was a bit odd going for frozen yogurt on a cold day in February, but we had a great time. We had never been to a Yogurty’s and were impressed by the froyo itself as well as the selection of toppings. I’m usually not all that big on DIY food places, but this concept seems pretty simple, clean and well thought out. Seating is a bit limited, but for this area that’s probably ok.
A bonus star for the super friendly owners!
