My group booked a karaōke room. At the end of the night, the server came out with our bill that said $ 183 subtotal; $ 225 after tip and tax. We asked the server if we could spend $ 20 more on food to get the offered discount(the discount: if you spend over $ 200 before tax, you can get a $ 30 discount). So he took the receipt back and disappeared. We waited for a long time for the server to come back and eventually decided that we would forget about the food and discount and just get out of there. We asked for the bill again and this time, they handed us a bill for $ 245 after tip and tax. We asked if this was a mistake and the response they gave us was«prove to us that your original bill said $ 225». Of course we couldn’t because the server had taken it away. Obviously, this was a dishonest and unlawful act and we will never be going back again. Also, our karaōke machine kept freezing all night and they had to reset it twice, taking up the time that we paid for.

This has got to be one of the most confusing set up for any first timers coming in to check out the Mi Lounge which is all the way in the back of the pool hall through a set of conspicuous looking metal push doors. We were a group of 8 people in our late 30s to early 40s looking to grab some drinks after dinner and possibly partake in the pool hall/karaōke that Mi Lounge’s website said it offered. Let’s just say that the pool hall we walked through was packed with a very young crowd and when a few of us actually walked through the said metal push doors to check out Mi Lounge, we were so disappointed at how different the set up looked from all the photos on their website. The lounge area was very small and crammed with mini high backed chairs arranged like small sectionals. There was a bad Chinese karaōke background music blaring and right away we knew we had made a mistake coming here. Our group is no stranger to pool halls and karaokes but this was nowhere near up to par. And if you can believe it, things got even worse when we mistakenly walked through the unmarked door that led to the Mix2 karaōke. The hostess informed us that there would be a minimum charge of $ 200 for the night. Since we were already there and not wanting to waste time driving to another place(and against our better judgement), we decided to stay and give them a try. As if the $ 200 minimum charge for the room wasn’t bad enough, the drinks came out slowly and the room temperature beers were just not cutting it for us. We had to download their very glitchy app on our phones to navigate through what seemed like endless list of Chinese songs to find one English song. And when we did fine one, it turned out to be a music video, not a karaōke song! We repeated asked the front desk to help us navigate through their system, the staff simply shrugged their shoulders and said, «some songs are without words» which in our case, were most of the songs we had put in. After a very frustrating 45 mins, we decided to cut our loss and head over to Take One where we had been to before with more reliable selection of English songs and drinks. MIX2 is mixed up in a very bad way with terrible service and poor selection of music and it’s very safe to say we will never return.

15 $/hr for pool play during prime times. Try to avoid coming in during Friday-Sunday 7pm-close. Any other times, 8.50 $/hr which is far more reasonable. If you don’t have a membership they also charge you 3 $ for the day… WTF?! Why are you charging me 15 $/hr PLUS a membership for the day if I’m already paying the hourly rate. They have specials throughout the week that makes it far more reasonable to come in. $ 20⁄2 hours of pool play with 3 drinks included. My bf ended up spending 45 $ in one hour for 1 hour 15 mins of pool play, along with one beer and one bbt. Ok. I’m done complaining about prices. I wish I did my research a bit more before coming in during prime hours. The place itself is a pretty sweet chill spot. there’s over 30 different tables so it’s never too packed. I love how they serve both booze and bubble tea. I would definitely come back during slow hours

Went here to play pool with a few friends. After about an hour of using my cue stick normally, the tip somehow broke off. Friends said it looked like there was already a crack but I wanted to be honest and tell them the stick broke. However, the lady working there told us to wait while she was contacting the manager, I think we must’ve waited about 10 minutes after we paid when she finally said we have to pay $ 2. I felt like I was being punished by the unnecessary waiting and also the fee for an already cracked cue stick. I think if we didn’t have to wait 10 minutes to pay $ 2 it would have been better. Playing pool was fine though although I wish other players weren’t placed at tables right next to our table.

$ 15 during happy hour for 2 non-alcoholic drinks or 1 non-alcoholic drink and snack. correct me if i’m wrong but i think happy hour is from 3pm-9pm? its hard to argue against these prices. thats 6 hours of singing ur heart out and u get 2 drinks or a drink and a snack too? pretty sweet. usually my experience here is pretty good and no complaints but my trip here over the weekend was a bit disappointing. we had a pretty big group of people but due to some technical issues, they had to put us into a different room. first one employee was unable to fix the problem, then a second employee could not either. and we were told that the manager was on the way to fix the issue. however, the issue was never resolved and i’d say 15+ of us were crammed into a small room that was probably designed to seat 12 max comfortably. aside from this one thing, mix2 has had a pretty good track record in my books. i think the least they could’ve done was maybe discount something or give us some additional drinks or snacks on the house.

I only come here for the pool(I didn’t even know there’s karaōke or other rooms). It’s a big hall with lots of tables. I come in weekday afternoons so it’s pretty empty, but it’s decent. I split it within 3 people, comes to about $ 8 for a couple of hours. Keep in mind that no outdoor food or drink is allowed.

It is the safest and well run karaōke/pool/lounge in Greater Toronto. It opens early at 1 pm. The smoke-free rules are strictly enforced here. Hence, if you want to smoke indoor(which is of course illegal), do not go to Mix2. In the evening, they have all you can drink(non-alcohol) package. Hence, you will see many teenagers and sometimes a whole family with kids singing over there. The pool hall is probably the largest in Markham and northern Toronto area. If you like the spacious feel, you will enjoy here because they have a 20 feet ceiling. There are both American pool tables and British style billiard tables. The parking lot in front of Mix2 is large and open. There is a Mi lounge at the back which is more for the mature and sophisticated crowd. This section is not open to people under 19. Mi Lounge is open only after 10 pm but is available between 1 pm and 3 am for private reservation(exclusive or not).

I don’t go to karaokes to often but coming here was a spur of the moment thing. They have this Friday night special that was pretty great. I think it was $ 16.99 per person and you can sing as long as you want. Also includes non-alcoholic drinks and some snacks. I have to say that the selection of English songs was sub-par at best. They definitely need more variety of older songs. Overall we had fun.

I don’t come here to karaōke so this review is strictly for pool/billiards. Needless to say, Mix2 is the go to place for a pool night. It’s close to where I live, always has parking available, tables are relatively good condition, and lots of stick available. They can get quite busy on weekend nights so beware of that. They also charge a flat fee(about $ 3 each time you get a table) that can be avoid if you buy a membership. My friends and I come here about atleast once bi-week so we opted in for the membership. Service/food/drinks isn’t always the best(food is quite good actually but it’s just a bit on the expensive side) but I come here for pool so it doesn’t bother me. Another thing that I really love about mix2 is that they show UFC events free of charge. Sometimes, I see groups of people just come in to watch the fight(they don’t even play pool or buy a drink) which I think is quite nice of them.

Originally on new years day we wanted… I mean I wanted to sing k and I dragged people along with me. But went in and the lady told me it was something like $ 120. I was like. Uhhh for what. She just kept repeating herself so I said never mind lol. Went to play pool instead on the other side. They have a karaōke side then they have a billiards side. Well it wasn’t as expensive for pool $ 13.99 per hour. At least I learned some new techniques to play pool! I was singing and playing Btw. Since couldn’t afford the karaōke.

The service lacks manners and common sense. Just awful! The server insisted charging us for 8 ppl although we have only 7. It’s unbelievably bad! Extremely bad service

When we went there the lady there was rude straight away. First, she told us if we wanted a room we’d have to leave ID while we were in the room… Driver’s license or health card. When we told her we didn’t have any ID on us, she said we had to leave a $ 100 cash deposit, while we were in the room. Overall. really sketchy. Seemed like an identity theft situation. There’s no need to hold onto ID. When we asked why, she said«To make sure you pay» and then we offered to pay, but she refused and said we had to pay at the end, after we picked up our ID. Seemingly really sketchy. If you had membership, apparently you don’t have to give ID, but it didn’t leave a good impression to purchase a membership. The lady who picked up the phone when we called to confirm prices was nice and polite though, and when we went before to look around(and I think the first time we went we got the nice lady) she didn’t say anything about IDs. so seems pretty sketch.(maybe we just got someone who felt like stealing identities.) Do not recommend this place.
