Wifey likes this place. I’ve tried the items she has purchased. I like it too. Good service and fair prices.

My family and I lined up for the weekly«Name Your Price Tuesday» special today. We waited at 4:45 p.m. for more than 15 minutes in the long line up only to be informed after 5 p.m. by the staff that they were NOT honouring the special. There was no sign and no disclaimer in the store nor on their website stating that the special was only from 1 to 5 pm. We have 5 children who were sorely disappointed and our eldest son had actually purchased the Tuesday special earlier at 12 noon today. Which means that the staff member obviously decided that they did not want to deal with the line ups and felt it was not worth their time to sell a loss leader when they potentially charge $ 5 on an average drink on their menu. They make up policies at random to benefit their own selfish gains. They turned all their customers away. How does a legitimate franchise operate within these immoral standards by not honouring their advertised special? Not only was their blatant lie misleading and illegal but it was very poor customer service and takes away from the United Way charity that they supposedly support through this special. My family had been loyal customers to this store for many years but after this experience, we will never return. I hope everyone will boycott Bubble Tease too as their«Name Your Price Tuesday» marketing strategy has nothing to do with the franchise supporting the United Way but shows they are only in it for their own financial gain and care nothing about their customers. So I posted this on their Facebook page to get the problem resolved, it got deleted without any comments. Looks like Bubbletease doesn’t really care about customer feedback.

Came in once, nothing outstanding about the drink itself which I bought with tapioca had anything shout out to me. The tapioca didn’t harbour much in the flavour department and I haven’t been back over two years ago.

Yes, I gave bubbletease a 5 star rating. At the Markville mall location, they offer the best daily specials I have seen anywhere. The large tea(black, green, Oolong… depending on the day of the week) without tapioca or jelly comes up to $ 2 including tax! Although the tea is already pre-sweetened, it is the perfect amount of sweetness for my tastebuds. I love my Chatime and Ten Ren’s as well for my flavoured bubbletea but for a simple milk tea, the drink flavour and value is amazing! I have have frequented this location many times over the past month.

An ok place to get bubble tea when you get thirsty while shopping. The artificially flavoured tea isn’t the greatest. Tastes oily, a tad too sweet, and has a weird, gritty texture sometimes(is it undissolved powder? sugar?) and aftertaste. Can’t really taste the tea, and I’ve had better tapioca… The stuff with the real fruit is better… slightly, but I’ve had better. To be fair, I’ve also had far worse bubble tea… it’s not bad enough that I would never drink this again. When I’m with friends at the mall, and everyone goes for bubble tea, I don’t mind joining in on the bubbly fun. :D Also, I find it a bit funny that the Bubble Tease website tries to make their bubble tea seem healthy. The nutrition info consists of the benefits of tea and tapioca… but they never mentioned all that sugar and fat and artificial flavour/colour or the high calories. But then again, I’m not drinking bubble tea because its healthy… Nevertheless, I can’t stand false advertising! And everything is overpriced, but that’s sort of expected of mall food… it’s not the most expensive bubble tea there is, but you can definitely find cheaper and better(not at Markville though)
