When we wander out of town, whether it is just for the day or longer, we like to enJOY our travels. Getting there and back again is as important as the destination; so we usually try and avoid the busy highways which makes Dewdney Trunk Road through Maple Ridge such a beautiful route.
Another bonus is the Iron Mountain Store and Grill.
They have sandwiches, burgers, soup, drinks, pizza, ICE CREAM. All of it is delicious and the staff is always friendly. Prices are super low and quality is high.
On our recent trip we had turkey sandwiches — made with real roasted turkey. Three of us ate (sandwich and a coffee) for under $ 20 with change left for a tip…
Makes me eager to plan another trip out of town.
