Alouette Taxi

If you want to party and choose a safe ride home… keep looking. NO answer and NO service on a Saturday night… really. Good thing our hosts could make room for us to crash. DON’T count on these clowns to come through.

Horrible taxi service.
We’ve used them many times, but this time was the last straw.
We have had them double bill us, start the meter higher than the initial rate should be, refuse to drive us if they feel it’s too far and even be intoxicated when driving.
The last time, I dropped my phone in the taxi. We called back two minutes later but he «too far away to come back» and would only look for the phone the next day.
He then found the phone, but had to give it to «other drivers» to have them return the phone!!!
Dispatchers were rude. THey would hang up on me, refuses to tell me where I could pick up my phone, told me I was «just lucky he found it», even though 5 days later he still wouldn’t return it.
At first I thought the management would be helpful, but in the end, they refused to help too.
Finally, after threatening to phone the police, a phone turned up at the office. Nothing like the phone I lost. The driver described my phone to me on the phone, so he did have my phone at one point. They tried to hock the other phone on me.
Horrible service, dodgy, and rude.
Can’t get much worse.
I would NEVER ride with them again, and I certainly wouldn’t let a friend ride alone.
