One of my favourite getaways in NS. The house is cute and sweet, and really provides that perfect out of the way vibe. If you’re a writer and you’re looking for a retreat, Far Far Away offers you an opportunity to get away from distractions, but still provides important things like internet and civilisation, should you desire it. The owner is very helpful, and you can occasionally score some nice perks as he often has promotions running with other area businesses. At the very least, he can recommend the best places to dine, and the prettiest sights to see.

This guesthouse is amazing! It’s half way between Mahone Bay and Chester, so gives all the privacy of a remote location yet it’s only minutes away from everything. Your stay includes a bottle of wine and fresh coffee and espresso, Aveda bath products, BBQ, mountain bikes with a provincial trail(Rails to Trails) in the back yard. The back deck gets lots of sunshine for an alfresco breakfast! The place was very clean, comfortable and modern. There is AC if you need it. Loved it!
