Visiting from Mississauga after having dinner at the market, we found this little corner coffee shop. We had a macchiato and an Americano plus Belgian waffle. All in all very good flavours and excellent service. Would be nice to have some outside tables for the summer afternoons. The value is great!

I decided to stop in here to pick up a bite to eat on the way home. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Popeye crêpe — spinach and goat cheese. It was made fresh in less than 4 minutes and the young lady who served me made pleasant conversation the whole time. Very tasty for a $ 5 crêpe.

very small store but has a good variety of sweet & savory waffles & crepes that are freshly made to order. can be really crowded on weekends the only downside is there are not enough seats in this place…

sigh… have to downgrade back to 4 stars, since they don’t seem to be doing after-bar service anymore, which was a pretty key feature to me!

I’m probably basing this as an unfair comparison to Vancouver’s crepes scene, which is atrociously a rip-off, a basic crêpe w/jut nutella will set you back $ 10! So undoubtedly, when I was here last summer for work, & stumbled across this gem where you can get sliced strawberries & bananas, along w/the nutella for the same price, it’s a winner in my books ;) A fairly small little joint run by a husband/wife team, window bar-stool seating only makes for good eye candy action. Unlike the Vancouver ones where you can actually sit down w/a bunch of friends to chill, you won’t get that here; it’s more like a QSR. Also make a good smoothie too. Parking’s a bit tough, as it’s kinda located on a triangle piece of land, and recalled sharing w/another business next door. Plenty of parking on the side streets.

We came today for their sweet crepes and were quite excited after the reviews we heard. However, it was an overall very disappointing experience. We ordered the Caramel Apple Crunch waffle and hot chocolate and found it to be a sub-par experience overall. The waffle itself was not sweet, and was actually quite bland. It was much smaller than expected(though it may look larger in pictures), and overall felt like it was missing something. The caramel sauce also left lots to be desired, though we had to add lots more sauce to the waffle for it to resemble anything remotely tasty. Finally, the hot chocolate tasted like a watered down version of Carnations Hot chocolate. Overall we were quite let down by the experience.
