This store is a bit of an anomaly as far as Mac’s goes. There’s a 24⁄7 Subway inside, along with wifi supplied by Mac’s themselves. There’s also a spot set aside for you to sit and eat as well. It’s a standard Mac’s, with fountain drinks, slurpees and the usual hot roller fare. It’s right on the corner of a major intersection, Dundas & Wellington, so I’m betting they survive solely on people waiting for a bus. I liked this because a few years ago, it was convenient for me after getting off a shift at the Convention Centre a block away. What keeps them from getting a 4 star rating, the fact that they, nor any of the Mac’s in town, don’t sell bus tickets. I don’t know how a store downtown calling itself ‘a convenience store’ doesn’t sell bus tickets.
