First time here. Service was awsome. Food was great. Ribs were tender. Sauces and sides were excellent. We will be back. Right across from the ferry.

Petit restaurant rapide, simple, mais très efficace. Le menu petite dent pour les enfants est très bon, et le trio de burger(bœuf, poulet et porc) est vraiment parfais. La salade de fève comme ils disent, des haricots rouge avec une sauce à tomber sur le C. Top!!! Important de souligner la gentillesse du personnel(Nelly). A recommander, et juste a 150 mètres du bac, tellement simple. Faite vous plaisir pour un bon casse-croûte.

We found this on Unilocal.When I was younger I would take this exit off Hwy 20 looking for fast food. Now I drive it to the water and find this tasty Memphis experience in Quebec. Ribs were done to the right tenderness with 4 sauces to choose from. The beans were flavourful and also had a delicious texture. My dinner mates enjoyed the potato salad, and cucumber salads that accompanied their meals. Overall this place was a find and is mow tips on my hwy 20 list between Rimouski and Montréal.

Serious BBQ joint. I came in being a doubter and left being a believer. Many places in Canada claim to understand ribs. However from eating at many rib joints in the SEUS there are few that understand this trade and most serve as one pre-determined way. As mentioned in another review our Canadian style of ribs tends to be a rack slathered with a wet sauce that is typically brown or tomato based with some sweet and bold flavour. My preference however is to have a dry rack of ribs with a choice of sauces for you to dip, rub or slather with whatever flavour you choose. Or to eat dry if this is your game plan. Here at Barbacoa you have many options. Pulled pork, chicken, ribs or even poutine. I went with a half rack with Mac n cheese and cucumber salad. The side portions were you typical small portions. This is the next thing restaurants here must learn is for sides you must provide a more generous portion. How much does a bigger portion of mac n cheese cost? Like really??? The ribs however could have used some more seasoning but were fall off the bone delicious. They were described as smoked over maple wood. A half portion was huge! To eat a full portion you would be in total 110% food coma overload! Like send in the sandman lights out! Back to the ribs they had a great selection of four homemade sauces you could use as much as you like. The choices were original spicy, smokey and maple. All four were quite tasty and well described. My favourite was the maple. So good I bought a bottle to go which I will gladly enjoy at home! Location is right near the Levis ferry terminal and definitely worth coming over. Pricing was amazing and well worth it! If this restaurant was across the river in Quebec it would be lined up every night! It’s seriously that good! Come check it out! One of the best ribs I’ve had so far in Quebec and up there for some of the top ribs I’ve had in Canada.

Great food. Very fast and great service. We got the ½ ribs with cole slaw, fries and beans. I live in the U.S. and it rivaled many fast food stops. It’s a great rest stop in the way to the Gaspe.

Toujours excellent! Le king du BBQ à Québec! On fait souvent le détour à Lévis pour goûter l’authentique BBQ. L’effiloché de bœuf est excellent! A mettre sur votre liste!

Les restaurants qui se spécialisent en BBQ se font rares à Québec. Heureusement, le Barbacoa nous montre que manger de la nourriture de BBQ n’est pas quelque chose réservé uniquement pour les belles journées de juillet à son chalet. On peut s’y gâter à l’année longue. Ce restaurant qui se dit un authentique Memphis BBQ est certainement bien bon, si bien sûre vous aimez la viande. Leur viande n’est pas cuite sur un grill comme on l’aurait deviné mais elle est plutôt cuite à la fumée de bois d’érables. Lors de ma visite à ce restaurant près du fleuve, j’y ai mangé une de leurs fameuses côtes levées, que je suis heureuse de confirmer, sont très bonnes. Vous avez aussi l’option de compléter vos repas avec deux choix d’accompagnements(je suggère la salade de chou, et les fèves au lard).
