I met a coworker for dinner here last night. Our server was super great, but the food was average to me. I had the tuna tacos and the pieces of ahi tuna were super small and not delicious. I’ve had their tuna tataki appetizer before and that was stellar, so maybe they just don’t use the best selection for the tacos. I had 2 glasses of their happy hour white wine that was a blend of 2 or 3 varieties — it was nice. For dessert, which I rarely order, I tried the $ 3 mini mango brulee — THIS was actually really yummy. I loved the price point and the mini size. Overall, I was pleased to escape The Keg only $ 30-some odd dollars poorer, because a lot of their entrées are pricy. I don’t usually eat here for that reason but my coworker chose the spot. Of course, I’ll likely be back at some point in the future but it isn’t a staple venue for my dining experiences.

Keg always has good food but I am not a fan of the takeout policy. If I plan to leave with your food, I am aware the quality goes down a tad but I do not want to order and stand in your restaurant for 30 minutes to wait because I can’t order over the phone during my commute home. I respect your policies but please consider my time and respect that not everyone wants to eat in your restaurant

We went to this Keg for our 36th wedding anniversary. The keg in our neighborhood had closed, so we decided to try this one. In short, we had an above average experience. The server had a subtle sense of humor and worked hard to help us enjoy our outing. The food was quite good. We had steaks, what else would you have at a Keg.(Although they were pushing the lobster pretty hard) In all well worth the price.

We’ve been«off» the Keg for a while but decided to try it out when meeting up with family for dinner this week. Glad we did. Service was great, food was excellent and the restaurant itself is very nice, clean, well planned out. This one will be in our list for another time, for sure!

Worst meal I have ever had at any Keg location. They took a couple items off the bill which helped but still totally disappointing. Won’t be back.

This is my favourite keg. Always great prompt service. Whenever there is a problem management greets you and makes sure you’re okay. Friendly staff. Modern ambiance.

We were here for dinner on a weekday and didn’t have to wait very long, about 10 minutes for a table. The lounge and bar were seated more quickly than the restaurant section. Our server was Carling, she was excellent, attentive and did not skip a beat… we will definitely request her section when we visit again. The manager even came by to make sure that everything was okay. Great service, great food, one of the best restaurants in Langley. Thumbs up.

Enjoyed the calamari appetizer. Very nice touch with the jalepenos and green peppers. That could have been my entire meal. Also, had a short rack of ribs. Very tasty. Service was acceptable. No IPAs available. That was not good. F

Pretty much as consistent as every Keg usually is… seated promptly… server was by right away to point out the specials, and ask about drinks… order taken promptly, bread came by promptly… food came out at good times(appy’s, wait… dinner). Came by and checked on us a few times to see if things were all right… everything was fine.

My wife and I decided to go out for Valentine’s dinner a few days early. We’d normally go to the Keg in Morgan Creek but decided we’d switch things up this time around. It was… Okay. We arrived at 5:30pm and it wasn’t very busy at all. The ground floor dining room only has booth tables, and the second floor is, well, upstairs, so if you need a wheelchair accessible table you’ll have to sit in the lounge. So we did. Service was prompt and friendly, but the food wasn’t as great as we’ve come to expect from the Keg. Calamari was greasy, soggy and had a hair in it. Replacement was crispy and hair-free, as it should be. Baked Garlic Shrimp was great. Prime Rib was closer to medium even though it was still quite early in the evening. Filet was slightly overdone but still good. They forgot to bring steak knives in advance(as they usually do) so we had to flag someone down to fetch some for us while our entrees cooled down. We opted out of dessert. The took a few bucks off due to the appy mishap. I’m used to walking out of the Keg thinking«that was GREAT» but this time I walked out feeling indifferent. I think we’ll stick with the Keg in Morgan Creek.

I come here all the time and for most of the time, I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. The service and food is always pretty great. This time we had a new idea which we never thought to try at the Keg… Take Out! This was a great idea. A couple of Keg Classic Prime Rib Dinners with a wedge salad, a ton of Roasted Veg, and a yummy loaded baked potato. Picked it up at 5:30 and back to the coziness of our house with a glass of wine and a Canucks game with the volume up loud. Had a great night with The Keg at our house. Awesome.

Of all the Keg locations in the Lower Mainland, this location is by far the worst. I seriously hope that Head Office reads some of these reviews. My boyfriend and I love the Keg, but will not go to this location anymore. We have never had a successful service here. Steaks have always been terrible(cooked wrong, tough, bad cut of meat etc) and the service has always been terrible. Servers who are not experienced, or attentive. When I discussed my latest experience for my boyfriends birthday with the GM, he didn’t really seem to care all that much. He recognized that we hadn’t had a good experience there ever and have been going there since the location was renovated in 2011. However he didn’t seem overly helpful or compassionate. Both our steaks were tough and overcooked, they didn’t give him his complimentary dessert because it was his birthday and quoted us times that our new steak would be out in incorrectly. Needless to say we will drive to the Guildford or South Surrey locations(both of which are 30 mins away) going forward. Dont waste your time going to this location. It’s so busy(because there are not many fine dining establishments in Langley) and it isn’t worth the pain and hassle. If you do go, DONOT sit in the lounge. For some reason they only hire servers there who are pretty to look at, but lack the serving qualities you would look for when going to the Keg.

Reliably good. I had the bacon wrapped steak, it was really tasty. I had never tried the appys before(it is a bit of a pricy meal after all) but as we were a big group there was appys ordered for all and they were really good too. The nacho plate especially.

This location keg is really busy. My husband and I decided to try going to this location as soon as it opened at 4:30. The waiter was nice, and kept refilling our bread baskets. The food took about an hour to come out as to be expected when the place was filling up fast on a Friday night. Staff very friendly. Parking is very limited. Food was delicious. Hubby got ribs and a burger. Both very good. I had the teriyaki chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken didnt really have any flavour, just tasted like plain chicken. Mashed potato’s weren’t seasoned very bland. No gravy/sauce for the chicken or potato’s.

I have visited this Keg location many times as I live very close it. Every time I have been there it has been an all around good experience. On our most recent visit, we were greeted right away upon entering. It wasn’t too busy and there was no wait, although I do know that this location can get very busy on the weekends. We were seated right away and our server, Jamie, came over to greet us very quickly. He was also the bartender in this section with multiple tables he was serving as well. This did not pose as an issue at all as we were never left waiting for anything which I found very impressive. We ordered caesers and another alcoholic drink called a raspberry lemonade. All of our drinks were well prepared and tasted great! We were given warm bread with a three cheese spread to put on it which was soooo good. We started with a baked garlic shrimp starter which was cooked perfectly and tasted so amazing. It’s also a good idea to try dipping the bread into the sauce and cheese. We all ordered different meals, but it IS lobster season so we all ordered from the seasonal menu. I myself ordered steak and lobster with a side of garlic mashed. The steak was cooked exactly how I wanted. The lobster was amazing. Cooked well and so full of flavour. Now, an amazing meal like this does come at a cost. The Keg is definitely not an every day diner. It can be quite pricey but it is definitely worth the cost for a special occasion or a splurge/date night. I have to say I was very pleased with the service and the food. No complaints from me at all. Will definitely visit this location again and again.

Great food. Waits can be over 1 hour long on Saturdays. Staff are very professional and friendly. Steaks were a little under done all around our table, but were still acceptable. Very tasty, however. The salads are a meal in itself so be prepared to pace yourself.
