Kleinburg Barber Shop

The only place I go. Great atmosphere amazing cut, make sure you have a little time to relax with the boys.

It’s a crime that this place hasn’t received any love on Unilocal yet! Gentlemen, if you’re looking for a classic cut and shave this is THE place to go in Vaughan! True masters of the barbershop craft, these Sorcerers of the Scissor are experts at a re-​surging craft just finding its place in the GTA.
Today as I starred disappointed at the grown out floppyness of my hair and scruff of my face, I calmly ventured to Unilocal to contact my barber Marco @ West Woodbridge Barbershop (owned by the same gentlemen as this spot). Sadly I discovered that WWBarbershop was no more and that my main man Marco had returned to Kleinburg where he first got his start.
Since my start @ Unilocal,I had been trying to find a time to visit Frank in Kleinburg as his reputation preceded him no matter where you go in Vaughan, so today was the perfect storm of events as Marco invited me to visit him for a cut and complimentary shave at his new digs!
As I almost walked past this place myself today I should point out that this shop is located to the rear of the building and is worth the extra two minutes to navigate.
While West Woodbridge had that ‘chop shop’, tattoo’d, skateboard, new age barbershop vibe, Kleinburg Barber Shop is a return to the classic shop look and feel. Antique furniture, and classic pictures adorn the walls of this 2 level shop while the staff (Frank) wear classic Barber attire like vests and ties. However, while this shop appeals to the classical Barber Shop look and feel, it has just a little edge to it that lets you know it’s fresh and new!
I obviously stuck with Marco (he’s my guy), I gotta say that the complimentary espresso and jazz music put me in a perfect frame of mind. The end result? The usual Marco perfection, and now I know where he gets it from — everything he’s learned, he learned from Frank!
I could go on. and on… and on, but I’m just happy to have the first word on Kleinburg Barber Shop and I know I’ll be back many many times.
