Most of the food here is microwaved and our waitress was very rude to us when we went in early feb 2016. Skip this joint.

Went: Sun May 242015, 6:30 pm Ordered: seafood pizza Cost: incl. tax and tip $ 15 – 20 We ended up here because Avlyn Gardens was full. We tried the seafood pizza because I always thought shrimp/salmon on a pizza would work well together, and I was right. We were looking for other spots to eat in Kleinberg but there were not that many, though there were a lot of candy/dessert shops. It reminds me of Unionville in Markham, but there many highly reviewed restaurants there. There is a restaurant adjacent or using the same space as this one, but it seemed to be closed. Bottom line: I’m not sure I would come back because this is mainly pub food and I would be looking for more variety, though I am quite sure it does pub food well. This is 3.5 stars. It was a solid meal.

Most of the reviews of this place are from almost 2 years ago which might explain why they are positive. In the last year I have sincerely tried to give this place a shot. Without fail, everytime I’ve been utterly disappointed with the food, it’s absolutely disgusting and on the last occasion the chicken wings were still raw on the inside after taking a bite. The beer selection is limited and poor, Guinness on tap must never turn over quick enougu as it is always stale tasting with a sour after taste.

I had a nice lunch on the outdoor patio. Friendly service and efficient. No complaints there. The food was pretty good, but not spectacular. The duck confit shepherd’s pie was quite nice. Very rich and tasty. The Chartreuse sandwich could have been better. It promised honey baked ham and I thought it might be a nice thick slice, but it was two tissue paper thin slices. Almost no ham at all. Tasty, but a bit disappointing. I enjoyed the Longchamp Pub and the neighbourhood is very nice. And really good service. But the food isn’t out of this world.

Great stop in to have a sit down, a pint, and some pub fare. However the menu wasn’t completely typical. The duck confit sheppards pie was just fantastic!

Really nice rustic styles pub! Lots of beer selection on tap, food was also really good and very reasonably priced! Had a great first time there recently. Small and cosy, good for a quiet night out with some drinks and pub style food!

Almost didn’t realize this pub is actually in the downstairs of the building, I almost ended up in the restaurant upstairs. The atmosphere is cozy and homely for sure. Totally reminded of pubs we had been to in London. Had we only come for drinks this would be a great spot. In keeping with the English theme, there are a number of boiled options on the menu, I went with the fish and chips, my wife the burger. Playing it safe. The fries were good not too salty or greasy. The fish was a good size but heavily battered and a bit on the greasy side, and tartar sauce wasn’t nearly plentiful enough although I didn’t ask for more either. The portions were quite large, but was only average in the flavour department. I’d come back for drinks, but eat before or after coming.

The day was cold and food options in the Vaughan community of Kleinburg were slim to non on this calm Monday afternoon. After asking a few locals where the best place was for a hearty slice of warm lunch was I was directed to the basement stairway of Chartreuse restaurant where I entered into the Longchamp Pub. It’s an extremely small, quaint little watering hole located in the basement area of Chartreuse Restaurant, the type of place where you could seek shelter in the winter months whilst having a drink with friends. I really loved the rustic wood décor finished with a real working wood burning fireplace — LOVEIT! According to my server, they get fairly busy in the summer months when their able to open up their back garden patio for drinks and dinner. For my purposes and for an upcoming CMYE this place is the perfect meeting place for friends. I would wager this would be the kinda place to have drinks and play a few games of cards. With a maximum capacity of perhaps 35 – 45 they also have a fairly decent selection of on tap beers. King brewery(local) on tap being the main local independent brewer on tap(also have Steam Whistle, Creemore and Guinness, amongst others). However, today I was hungry and touch cold so I was looking to have something hearty for lunch. A typical English style pub menu is what’s available to you and a list of regular specials which change ever so slightly depending on the day. I Ordered the hot pot with a side salad. For those not sure what a hot pot is, it’s like a Pot-pie made in a ceramic dish with a pie-crust cap. The special of the day had the hot pot filled with delicious tender chunks of veal, veggies and a nicely flavoured sauce. Served with a side salad this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. In speaking with my server we got on the topic of dessert and before I knew it I had agreed to try their bread pudding. HOLY Efff-ballz. I’ve never had bread pudding before and that is likely what spawned the discussion around it and ultimately how I ended up blacking out and consuming and entire serving of this dish. Highly recommend as an unexpected restaurant fave.

What a great old English feeling pub. Huge fireplace, tons of character, friendly staff. Just average food. Been here twice now… always seem to drift in on a cold day(perhaps due to the fireplace). Haven’t had a dish that would keep me coming back… some sort of signature dish that would say…“ya…let’s go there for that“ Have had the hot pot(disappointing), the Longchamp burger(meh) and the fish and chips(not bad, but there are better out there). The last time we went here there were 4 of us… the time from ordering to food appearing was abnormally long… we thought that they were cooking everything upstairs and the staff had to go up to get it. If they could get their act together, I would go on a regular basis, rather than once or twice a year. 5 stars for atmosphere 3 stars for food 3 stars for service

Longchamp Pub does have a homey and a small town feel. Basic deco and furnishing with some wood works. The colours and style of the armchairs does have this retirement home vibe. Surprisingly the draft selection is quite decent: King Lager, Steam whistle, Krombacher Lager and Dark, Stella, Rolling Rock… Services is quite fast and friendly. I cannot comment on the food but at least our beers were nice and refreshing! Definitely drop by for a drink next time you are in Kleinburg. 12⁄15

The food is okay; nothing spectacular. Weird if you consider that it comes from the same kitchen as a gourmet restaurant(it’s upstairs). The burger was lifeless and the salad has a weak vinaigrette. Forgettable. Service leaves something to be desired.

This is where me and my parents always go to celebrate something. anything! It’s a homey little pub in a small town of Kleinburg right on the strip. That’s probably why we love it so much — it feels super-cozy warm and quiet! The other reason why we always go there is their seafood crepes! They’re something out of this world! And the sauce… ahh. no words! They have quite a large selection of beer as well. It is awesome if you want to have a quiet casual dinner and comfort food. Upstairs they have Chartreuse restaurant which is a bit more formal but also has amazing food(Steaks to die for!) Love it!
