My family had dinner here one weekend night. It was disappointing, to say the least. Olive Garden(yes, the huge chain restaurant) has better food, and so that’s not saying much. To add insult to injury, it was a very expensive meal. –Kids’ «mac-n-cheese“meal was Kraft Dinner. Enough said. $ 5.99? –Calamari appetizer. Obviously came frozen, cooked to perfect leatheriness. Accompanying marinara sauce was tasty, though. The plate was definitely not worth $ 10. –The salmon entrée was visually so unappetizing and kind of gross. There were no grill marks or sear marks on it, just a pale pink boiled-looking fishy-tasting lump of protein. The congealed sauce it came with also looked like it had been sitting in the fridge for a while. However, the surprising part was the side of veggies that came with the salmon… the sauteed onions, peppers, and green beans were delicious!(Why could they have not cooked the salmon the same way?) — Rice pilaf and spaghetti with meatballs were acceptable. Side salad also tasted fine, but was a bit weird overall. It had canned limp sliced green olives in it. I felt like I was eating a salad from the 1970’s. On the plus side, there were nice children’s activity books and the ambience was quiet because there weren’t very many diners. After eating there, now I know why. Not a lot of fresh food prepared a la carte. If you want to eat prepackaged, frozen fare, then this is your place.
