Just ordered from Kame a few days later and they messed up my order. I was very let down they couldn’t read their own menu properly. I was very disappointed. The food is still amazing, but the service is not that great.

This my go to sushi place in kingston. I love that they have so much variety. I am a vegetarian and if I visit other sushi places I am stuck with just one or two choices. But Kame has a lot of variety in vegetarian sushi and special rolls too. The staff is very friendly. The price has been going up slowly but steadily for sure. I will still spend a little much and go for more variety anyday.

I’ve been here many times now with my boyfriend. We both love it! He likes Arisu more around the corner(which is still AMAZING), but I just recently discovered the simple deliciousness of spicy salmon rolls and THEBADBOYHEREISDELICIOUS! So if you like spicy salmon, get that. It’s so good. They’re speciality rolls are all so good here.

This was my go-to sushi place in Kingston. Nothing better than having a cup of warm green tea on a cold day in Kingston over a few yummy rolls. I probably love this place because they have a good selection of rolls that match my preferences and plus they don’t douse their rolls in sauce. They serve them straight up :) I recommend sushi lovers give this place a go. PS when I say this was my go-to sushi place, I mean I tried this place first and never had the desire to try anywhere else!

On my way to the states, paid a little visit to Kingston and saw this little shop where it used to be an empty shop. It was not busy as the students emptied out for holiday . My mom and I were hungry so we had an order of Takoyaki(which was excellent!!!), a plate of karagge(fried squid?), a bowl of Donburi and two orders of their specialty rolls– a lot for two Asian women but we were hungry! My favourite was the Takoyaki. And the least favorite was the karaggae. But everything was really good! Definitely wish it was open when I went to Queens

Went on a Friday night for a few friends’ birthday dinner. Waitress was great about letting 14 of us rowdy university students rearrange tables to our liking. The menu was pretty comprehensive(by Kingston standards), and prices are average. Service took a while; we had to wait around 40 minutes after ordering to get our food, and at one point the waitress dropped a tray of empty used miso soup bowls on my back. Acceptable sushi place in Kingston; pretty much same as Niji. Would recommend Sima over both.
