Sandspit isn’t huge, but it’s definitely a favorite amusement park. Its charm makes it a perfect family spot on a summer day. It’s small and safe enough that you can let your kids run off for a bit, then bring ‘em back in for a picnic by the pond. Food/drinks/novelties are a bit pricey, but the parking lot is close to all rides and accessible, so you can pack lunch in the car. There’s only one roller coaster, but there’s still enough variety to keep everyone entertained. Ferris wheel, bumper boats, several spinning rides, jumbo slide, kiddie rides too… amusement park basics, but clean and accessible. The daily passes are a BARGAIN, and I think they offer next-day discounts. I don’t care how old I am. I’m comin’ back next time I’m around!
