This place holds a monopoly on ice cream in a very popular Downtown area close to the lake. If the heat of summer didn’t drive you straight through their doors, the smell of fresh waffles sure will. Mm-mmm. Needless to say, it attracts quite a queue. The ice cream itself was nice. I enjoy the Belgian Hazelnut very much. It’s not gelato, so no fuss allowed. They have a large board on the wall with all the available flavours, although I’m not sure that the flavours are necessarily present at all times. There’s only so much fridge space. The waffles are fresh, and quite thick? It was hard to eat or break off half way through the cone where it folds. Those of you with weaker teeth might want to watch out for that. It was a tad pricey, but that’s what you get when they’re the only ice cream shop for miles. It all starts at $ 4. They have the regular white wafer cones, too. Here’s a little clarification of the menu: Kids Cone = 1 scoop Small Cone = 2 scoops Medium Cone = 3 scoops Large Cone = 4 scoops So, a Small Waffle Cone costs $ 6.50. The shop itself is cute and run by teenagers, exclusively. They were a friendly bunch, full of energy and ready to serve up some ice cream! Note: it is CASHONLY.

I went on a weekend getaway in Kelowna and made a stop to see the lake. I saw tons of people walking around with ice cream cones so I followed where they were coming from. That’s when I found Moo-Lix and thankfully so. It was a super cute find. The waffle cone tasted amazing but I wasn’t very happy with my flavor of ice cream(peanut butter chocolate). Regardless, it was a good experience and my partner loved her coconut ice cream. Next time I’m in Kelowna I will stop in!
