On the long road from Calgary to Vancouver, this was the perfect pit stop for good eats before that final stretch.
Not only did it feel like Mexico (with 40.5 degree heat during our lovely heat wave this summer), but El Mariachi made it TASTE like Mexico too!
The tortilla chips they brought out as starters were just the right size, and my tostadas (advertised on the menu for smaller appetites) was more than adequate, with large helpings, and incredibly fresh ingredients.
Perhaps most exciting for my dining partner (my sis) and me was that the mandatory sides included in all dishes were absolutely exceptional. They did something pretty special with that rice…
I absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for a yummy and reasonable meal in Kamloops!
