Tried this new location for the first time on a mild Saturday in January at 4:30pm. We were the first customers of the day, not surprising at that early hour, and were seated at a two-seater in the big room to the right. When you come in the main door, the bar is immediately in front of you. There is a large dining section on the right with some windows, a smaller dining section to your left with no windows, and a further section beyond the left, with more windows again. Overall, the atmosphere is very cozy, as the name implies, with some artificial fire places, low lighting, comfortable chairs, wooden tables, some wooden pews for sitting as well. Service was very good. I ordered the Portabello burger(13.25 «marinated in red wine, olive oil and herbs, topped with goat cheese, euro mix and pesto mayo. Served with sweet potato & beet chips»). The burger was delicious, served open face. It also had a dollop of cole slaw, which was one of the best cole slaws I’ve ever had. My partner tried the Prime Rib Melt(«A grilled cut of prime rib w/sliced tomato & melted cheeses served on toasted garlic french bread w/fries» 11.95) and was very happy with it. We both opted for a variety of cocktails, which were all good and very reasonably priced. Nice bathrooms. I’d definitely go back here any time.
