Great food, yet, even greater service! I love the staff here. I’m already seeing reviews of welcoming staff and they are absolutely right! The goldfish-looking treats are surprisingly really good.(starts with B?) And unique for sure. And well-priced! Wish theyd continue making those more regularly. Philadelphia sushi is soooo good, definitely my favorite. Sushi Jet’s sushi dishes were fair in size and Genji was pretty good too(minus bad service) but this place has some pretty good dishes too + excellent customer service! Last time I went in during a lunch hour(aka rush hour) so it took them a bit to get me the food but it’s worth the wait for freshly made, hot food!

Sweet little spot in Scotia Square. The family that runs that place is so friendly and sweet. They offer a great meal that is fully vegan for a great price. The food is delicious and fast!

Tasty eats, and the owners/staff are always friendly and welcoming. Not much of a wait time either. I only gave four stars because I’m a spoiled brat and judge all Japanese food against my three years of sushi eating while living in Toronto.

I’m really fussy when it comes to sushi. I need it to be fresh, or I can’t deal with the taste of the seaweed. Their food always is excellent, and they have a nice variety. They’re always very friendly and welcoming!

Did you know that Scotia Square had a sushi place? It’s easy to miss because it’s tucked away at the far end of the food court, across from the Quizno’s and near the NSLC. While I’ve eaten here many times, I haven’t had much of their menu. They have a veggie sushi lunch combo which I enjoy. Well, except the salad bit. Was never a fan of that. Friends who have tried the expanded menu have been happy(or at least few complaints). It isn’t very busy most of the times I’ve been(which, admittedly, may have just been my timing on the matter). They can easily accommodate both eat-in with their small dining space or take-out. I encourage you to opt for take-out. While the food is good, the wait is long. After all,(pretty much) everything is made fresh while you wait. So you may, in fact, have to wait. It’s worth the wait, of course, but if you’re on limited time restrictions, you should plan to eat it at your desk.

It’s not the best sushi around, but the fact that it’s in the Scotia Square gives it a lot of credibility. It’s fast, tasty but a little overpriced for what you get. The staff are awesome and super friendly.
