Just ordered pre-football pizza from Sicilian Pizza in Clayton Park. Not a big pizza fan ordering only 16 times since January 2014, but I had two coupons. Called the location, got the regular guy answering the phone, who did as usual and had no idea there were coupons sent in the mail. I ordered the three donairs with three cans of pop — asked what diet they had and requested Diet Pepsi — and two tiny 9″ supreme pizzas. Not a bad amount of food, but I can finish it by breakfast tomorrow — it’s good cold and I have six hours of football to watch. He said delivery was after 4 p.m. and I was calling at 3:15, so OK. At about 4:21, buzzer rings. Nice, friendly delivery person at the door. Problems with the order. Two donairs instead of three. Delivery guy — again, nice guy, with a smile — quickly calls the outlet and hands me the phone. The regular guy starts explaining that he was the only one there, that the donairs were already half price(or whatever, it wasn’t clear), that the coupon isn’t always accurate, ad nauseum. First he says to pay full price, that he’ll do an upgrade on my next order, whenever that will be as I don’t order pizza very often. Try again, I say. He offers to lower the $ 15.95 pre-tax by $ 3. The order is there pretty quick, so I accept. Checking the order after closing the door, I find the pop is regular Pepsi, not diet. So out of three items I order, two are incorrect. Now, I haven’t ordered from Sicilian since August 2014, because I generally get a bit of an argument over cost and drama over using a coupon, and I prefer Pizza Land — I think it’s the best pizza amongst the few places I’ve ordered from in Metro since coming here in 1996 — but if you do order from Sicilian, clarify what you are ordering, and ask the staff to repeat back what you want, and the price. And if the order isn’t right when it’s delivered — in this case, 67 per cent wrong — send it back. I don’t order delivery very often, but I expect to get what I paid for. Oh, the punchline: He was there alone, but he was still able to write the order down correctly on the receipt.

Their food is alright. I’ve boughten there a few times. However I find some of the staff rude. And speak over you. I usually get donair or pizza only and its alright food. But I also go to other pizza stores as well. For delivery I only order from here when they have a quick delivery.

Sicilian is by far my favorite Pizza/Donair spot. Tasty food and fast delivery makes them the best in Fairview — Clayton Park.

We eat a lot of pizza, it’s not always my choice but the bf loves his pepperoni pie’s. We just moved to a new apartment, where there are way more options for grub. So, for pizza last night we contacted Sicilian. I have always enjoyed Sicilian at Pizza Corner, so I was pretty pumped to have it delivered to me, rather than almost falling on ass, getting it all over my face and watching other people doing the exact same stupid things that I do at Pizza Corner. The pizza is good, probably one of the better pizza joints out there. And, they have Greek Garlic Fingers; with feta cheese and black olives. One word: YUMMMMM I feel like pizza has become an expensive commodity, $ 46 for a large ½ pep ½ works pie, a medium garlic fingers, and a 2L pop. Does this seem right? I am and always be a cheap ass and can hardly justify paying that much for pizza. Oh and deliverey is super quick, which is an added bonus!

(I’m reviewing the Fairview location because that’s where I tend to order delivery from. I do, of course, indulge in the late night slice when I happen to be drunk on the town. But that’s not all that often.) OK, I’m going to try to keep this short, because I feel ashamed for giving this four stars, but… Anyone who has spent any time with me in Halifax over the past few years would know that i’m a big fan of really good pizza. Morris East, Salvatore’s, and recently Tomav(s)ino’s… they are some of the truest loves I’ve known. However, sometimes, I want pizza, but I want it to be greasy, cheesy, and to look like it just jumped out of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode. That’s when I turn to Sicilian Pizza. Do not expect fantastic pizza. It’s not fantastic pizza. But it’s cheap enough, they deliver pretty quickly, and it’s everything I look for when I want to feel like I’m dipping my heart in a grease bath.(I should note that, although it is greasy, it’s usually not greasy to the point of being inedible. And a few napkin presses will get rid of most grease you don’t want.)

Your pretty standard pizza place, the pizza’s not really anything special, but it’s not bad by any means either. Average to slightly above. It is consistent, which is a good thing, always plenty of ingredients and appropriately hot and greasy, without being over– or undercooked. And they put their pepperoni on top of the cheese, not under, which I love(I like to pick the pepperoni off and eat it first, before the rest of the pizza. I’m weird, and I’m okay with that).

Sicilian Pizza has a great deal for the big slice. Two for $ 5.00, these are fairly large pieces, we had the pepperoni ones. It is a pretty good pizza here and has a large eat in section. This is a great place to grab a quick slice.
