History

Established in 2014.

This restaurant was established to give Haligonians an opportunity to experience Pakistan’s excellent Halal cuisine. Close to the cuisine of north India, Pakistani cuisine has its own charcter. It encompasses the Punjabi cuisine as well as a vast variety from Sindh, Khyber-​Pashtunkhwa and Baluchistan.

Pakistani cuisine is very popular in the many Arab countries, UK, US and bigger cities of Canada. Muslims like to eat only Halal meat and restaurants which offer Halal beside non-​Halal food have the difficulty of segregagtion of types of meats. Café Karachi offers only Halal meat, thus giving observing Mulims the confidence they seek.

But Café Karachi focusses on freshness and ‘delicious’ness of its food. It is authentic home style cooking and this aspect becomes obvious when you take the first bite.
