Pizza Time Donairs & Subs

Love this place in Eastern Passage, so far I think best in the area. Great pizza (not greasy), great friendly staff & the price is average for a good pizza place. Only reason I am giving 4 not 5 is because the toppings are very limited. It won’t stop me ordering here again though. Thumbs up!

Really love the food and the service here I’ve never had a bad experience when I’m able to get ahold of them. Last 3 times I’ve called I’ve gotten no answer and drive by to find they are closed. I double checked their hours and everything, called again tonight to find a message saying they are closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2, 2016. Would’ve been nice to communicate that sooner than Dec. 29.

I’m a huge pizza fan and since moving to NS I’ve struggled with finding the perfect slice. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried every pizza place in the HRM only to be disappointed by sub-​par ‘za. Enter Pizza Time to restore my faith in pizzerias. This is homestyle pizzeria pizza at its best… thick, bubbly crust and melt-​in-​your-​mouth cheese. There is nothing like it in the HRM (that I have found so far!). We travel to Dartmouth to pick it up and let me tell you it is ALWAYS worth it. Prices are great and the customer service is excellent – it almost feels too good to be true until you taste that first bite of mouth-​watering pizza and you know it’s the real deal.

The prices are great. Excellent food when they are able to get the order correct. Seems to throw there cooks off if you ask for like please don’t over cook, or burn the order. However their poutine is awesome and large amount for the money.

My fiancé and I have ordered from Pizza Time twice now and both times we’ve picked up our orders we feel like we have been customers for ever and are just part of the family.
We tried Pizza Time first a few weeks ago after a recommendation from a friend. When I called to place our pizza order the voice on the other end of the phone was friendly, enthusiastic, and very helpful! When my fiancé went into the shop to pick up our order he was greeted warmly. Our food was ready and watiing for us and they knew we were first timers so they stocked us up with plates and napkins and about 8 cans of pop (even though there were only two of us) and told us all about their specials — and their donairs.
This high level of service stuck with us so over the weekend we ordered from them again. Being the donair lovers that we, we added in a smal donair to our order of a mdeium veggie pizza and a medium works pizza.
Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Our food was ready when we picked it up and again, we got the greeting like we were family as soon as we walked in. Our order was stocked with plates, utensils, napkins, cans of pop and this time we even got free pens!
I love their pizza. The dough is crisp on the bottom and the edges are nice and big and the inside fluffy and light. The toppings are PILED on and the cheese is melted to perfection. Just writing about it is making me want it again for supper tonight.
I almost forgot to mention the donair — we ordered a small because we just wanted to try it (we have a favourite donair place and didn’t want any bad vibes from ordering from a new place). DELICIOUS. The meat was spicy, but not too greasy, lots of tomatoes (we asked for extra, and no onions) and the sauces was perfect. The pita was definitely soggy and a bit chewy, but what does that matter?!
They do deliver, but I’m not sure what the cost is or what their delivery area is. We live close enough to just swing by and pick it up — and with the warm friendly family feeling you get when you drop by, I think we will continue to pick it up :)
