Woot for actually having the bread grill/bar thing! I’d be willing to go just for that! Although there’s hardly ever anyone up there so I always hesitate before going up. I always think: «hmmm, maybe it’s closed?» but nope! Just vacant! This place has awesome servers who are very quick and super friendly! …annnnd that’s where it ends. The menu sucks compared to other Pizza Delight places. They don’t have as many options and I have a really hard time finding something I like if I’m not in the mood for pizza or garlic fingers. Also, it’s really crowded!

Pizza Delight is not our first choice for a restaurant but sometimes the court yard just has too much chatter. We always get the pizza because I have not tried anything else here, I can not comment, I have heard that the lasagna is pretty good. The pizza is usually hot and fills the need, but never the craving for a really good pizza. So next time, I am going to veto going here and head for a place with a great pizza.

We’ve eaten at this Pizza Delight on a couple of occasions, when we didn’t feel like braving the food court and wanted a calmer meal. Let me tell you, Pizza Delight is not where you’ll find that. The dining room is small and crowded, with an overflow room off to the side where you feel like you’re sitting at the kids’ table.(If you sit in the overflow room, you’ll never see your server.) There’s usually a line-up waiting for tables, no matter what time of day it is. The menu has recently become more diverse, but there’s still not much of anything past the old standards. The donairs(the first I ever had) are still good — but they’re not the traditional donair you’ll find downtown or at Rush Hour. The pasta salad is a real throwback to the seventies; French dressing on noodles with a few vegetables thrown at it. Now, I’m not saying it’s not tasty — but it could stand to be brought into the 21st century. The bread grill is a good start, but we found that the servers were slow to provide the spreads — and you have to ask for them, they’re not available at the grill. So much for trying a few different kinds. By and large, Pizza Delight delivers what it promises — chain-quality food for chain-quality prices. To see what I really think: we had the opportunity to get a really good deal on gift certificates as gifts, and we passed as we didn’t want to obligate our families to eating here.
