Maps & More

Based on Joshua’s review, we headed off to Maps & Ducks. Strange name, I know, but a great store.
Having maps over the walls of my family room, I love them. They are a great conversation starter. People always like to show us where they were over the world, and of course there is always a story to go with it.
This store is a mappers dream shop. You name it, they will have it, old new, history, nautical maps, it is just awesome.
The staff here are great and I like to buy maps laminated. Maps are a great gift and learning tool for kids.
They have some great puzzles here, that are on my list to buy as gifts.

My god I love Map Stores!
Maps & Ducks does Maps right! I know I sound like some sort of Map fanatic which I’m not, but this store is just beautiful! And they really do have every kind of map I could think of and more!
The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere is very peaceful. I must admit, I have traveled for over six years so looking at maps has a certain level of fun to it that I and only other travelers know. You get to see where you’ve been and look at older maps to see what the land looked like before the 20^th and 21^st Century. A bit nerdy, I’ll admit. But you’d do the same and you know it.
This store also has a great collection of puzzles and games for children so they have fun while learning about other countries around the world. And on the other side of the spectrum, Maps & Ducks has high-​end original maps along with limited editions! Very pricey but if you have extra change in your wallet and want to impress that rich uncle of yours, this is how you’d do it.
Recently they have opened up a Flight Centre next to Maps & Ducks. For those of you who don’t know this company, they sell you travel packages and plane tickets.
I really don’t know what else to say about this store. It is a perfect Map store. They have a wide selection of Maps, puzzles, games, accessories and everything else a traveler would love! So whether you are buying for yourself or looking to do some early Christmas shopping, I’d suggest stopping by Maps & Ducks. Its a really nice store.
A bit on the pricey end, but the staff are wonderful and very helpful. Enough said. Head there now.
