Ordered a $ 12 «supreme» donair. Was charged an additional $ 8 for various«fees» even though it was after 4PM and was supposed to be FREE delivery. Food arrived 20 minutes later! Very quick service! Packaging was lukewarm to the touch… Food was cold. Like legitimately cold, was cooked at least half an hour ago cold. My father is a chef so I’m familiar with how long things take to go bad or get cold. Very tasty donair! But too much meat and not enough pita. Can’t eat it as a wrap, even when wrapped in tin foil. The sauce dripped out through 2 layers of tin foil and got all over my shirt & pants. Not impressed. Put it on a plate without the tin foil, microwaved it, and ate it. I wanted a wrap and got a pile of meat with very, very small portions of onion and tomato with a pathetic damp pita wrap in a lake of sauce. Probably shouldn’t order from this place.

Gruff no frills and no nonsense pizza and donair place. Service here was like eating at a restaurant in the Bronx. Guy pointed at me asking what I wanted. Medium Donair please. I asked if the large was like eating a football sized sandwich and the guy mentioned if I wanted to fall asleep«then Go for it man»! I had yet to eat the once and famous Halifax Donair. I had asked a work colleague to bring me here. What is a donair you may ask? It’s a wrap filled with what back in my hometown of Winnipeg we call gyro meat. Sort of like this highly seasoned and somewhat greasy beef loaf mix which spins around on a large skewer in front of a vertical grill type apparatus. They shave off pieces stuff it in a pita and add the famous donair sauce(which is an addictive mess also) with tomatoes and onions. Overall it’s a bloody good meal but I can see why people inhale these globular messes at 2AM to avoid the dreaded head pounding hangover after a night on the town. Not sure my health can take eating these on a somewhat regular basis but I may have to come back to indulge in a Halagonian after bar delight. Devishly delicious and sinfully seductive for the taste buds.

I ordered pizza & garlic fingers the other night and specified the time I wanted it to be ready by. It was already sitting on top of the oven. There was no way it was cooked with our arrival time in mind as it was cold when we got it home. The pizza itself was edible, as were the garlic fingers but they were nothing special. The crust was chewy and hard, not what I would expect of a homemade style pizza. It tasted a lot like Pizza Pizza’s pizza, which we don’t like. We used to love this location but it seems to have gone downhill. We won’t be trying it again soon unfortunately.

Pizza is never fresh and they never have anything without meat on it so it’s bad if you don’t eat meat! I’ve heard of people getting food poisoning from the take out pizza… Poutine is good tho and service is always fast and inexpensive.

Have tried Clayton park KOD more than a few times and every time i regret it. i have not one good thing to say about this place. As the people describe its beyond poor service. its almost as if they dont even want to do delivery. Also he price for pizza and delivery is way higher than average for at best decent pizza and to serve skimpy donairs with not enough sauce. A place that is representing donairs in NS. For Shame! Location must keep this Kod’s alive not the service or food.

Awful. Just… awful. I had a donair craving a few weeks ago(i usually go to Ronnie’s 2 for 1 in Dartmouth, Tony’s on Robie or KOD on Quinpool) but I was on my way to the BLIP and decided to give this KOD a try — and boy — I really wish I didn’t. I ordered a small donair and it was literally 2 thick pieces of meat on a hard, stale pita. It was literally like eating a donair burger that was 2 weeks old. I was so disgusted. Theres no way this KOD is run by the same owners of the Quinpool or middleton location! Once again, after going to the denist on Lacewood(I know, ironic)… I stopped bu for a slice. The meat on the pizza was smelly, the veggies were dried and shriveled, and the crust was so hard it nearly broke my pearly whites. The guy behind the counter said that he wasnt allowed to make a «fresh» pizza so what was out is what he was to serve. He gave me the slice for $ 2 instead of $ 5. I dont know why I have this place a second chance, but im still kicking myself for going back. Anyways, lesson learned — never again!

The bf was craving a donair so we ventured in; we have been here before. This is what happens next: BF places donair order to go Employee shaved donair meat from spinny thing Employee picks pita bread out of bag, drops it on the floor Employee picks pita bread off of floor Employee takes pita bread to the garbage Employee DUSTSPITAOFFOVERGARBAGE Employee dips pita bread in water and throws it on the grill Employee makes donair and hands it to bf. Yeah, don’t eat here.

King of Donair is a pretty busy place after the tavern lets out. It is located right next door. I have to say their pizza, the large slices seem to go out the door pretty quick for the late night snack. Pretty reasonably priced. When we go, we usually get the donair pizza. It is a hit and miss here, I am sorry to say. We have had good and not so good. I think if you are in the area and in need of a slice, go here. But if you are craving a real satisfying pizza, I would say, keep going.
