Halifax Cycles

This is one of my favourite bike shops in the city. I will soon review my other fav. Living close to this shop I walked by a number of times and visited to look at bikes a number of time over the last year. Having wanted to pick up a fixed gear ride for my city bike for some time I looked at a few shops in the city and they had the best selection I could find of affordable good quality fixies.
About 2 months ago while walking past the store I noticed a sale in the window, bumped into a friend and we took two bikes out for a test drive. The bike and the sale were too hard to resist so I walked out with a great new bike and a few upgrades at a really good price.
The store has lots of accessories and a good selection of all types of bikes, they even have a back room with used bikes for sale at pretty reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful and love to talk bikes, from the bikes they have to events in the city.
The only constructive comment I have is there are a very limited selection of helmets and tires. They do have some good choices but not as complete a selection as I would like.
Great place to find that perfect bike and start riding in the city right away. Plus they have bike parking out front.
