Wandered over here with a coworker a few weeks back for the first time and, wow, why haven’t I been into this Dooly’s before? VERY roomy with tons of pool tables. Decent amount of seating for anyone who just wants to chill as well. We were quick to get drinks and the service at the bar counter was admirable. The staff was also friendly, but I didn’t like the fact that we had to request service for food. Nobody came to our table and asked if we wanted anything, which… I don’t know, just seems like the standard thing to do, ya know? Anyway, Dooly’s simply offers an appetizer menu, which is fine for what the place is. Prices were very affordable. I had a few bottles of Keiths, some jumbo wings and mozza sticks, and then we played a few rounds of pools. I only spent about $ 25 or so, which was quite a bargain. The placement of the TVs isn’t the greatest, but ah well. You’re there to play pool! Great place though, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Parking is ample as well if you’re arriving via car.

Some friends and I had the urge to shoot some pool last Tuesday night and decided to check out Dooly’s on Kempt Road. When we arrived the location wasn’t very busy so we were able to get a table and start shooting right away. This Dooly’s is really nice. There are a lot of tables and a lot of space so you’ll never feel like you’re interrupting someone elses game. The staff behind the bar were really friendly and would talk your ear off if you gave them the chance. The pool tables were in great shape as was all the equipment. The location definitely seemed to take a lot of pride in what it offers. I’ve seen some pretty run down pool halls before and I am happy to say that this is not one of them. It was a really fun night, playing pool and catching up with old friends. The prices were decent and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely recommend this place to all the pool sharks out there.

Dooly’s is the place to go to shoot some pool and grab a cold one. It seems t be a regular stop for some folks and this location is pretty good. It is off a main drag in the middle of Halifax, so if you so consume a little too much in the suds department you can grab a cab, no problem. Although I could never be a professional pool shark, let’s be honest here, I have played only a few times. It is a fun game and a great social.

Looking for something to do on a Saturday night check out Dooly’s. There is always some good entertainment at a pool hall. Well off we go out for a night of some wobbly tops and some pool. Great pool tables from what they tell me as I am really not a professional pool table. Well that depends on how many tops I have as I do feel I get better. This is really a good location some that I have travelled over time I really do not feel comfortable in. Dooly’s has a full bar that offer beer, wines and some of the good stuff. Kitchen is available for some typical snack items but mostly we go to play pool. TV line the walls for those sports fans that seem to line the walls on whatever play off that seem to be happening. As well there are private room available to a more reserved party.
