I was surprised of the rating when I came to check this site. I got a pizza from them last week. It was wet. Pizza isn’t suppose to drip with 3 ingredients. Will not be going back. Then I realized the ratings were old. Maybe they changed management or cooks?

Excellent food and friendly courteous service. Many items to choose from and you get huge portions. I go there every chance I get. Well worth the stop.

I love, love, love this place! And I haven’t even been there! My husband sometimes forgets his lunch and has very limited options since he has Celiac Disease. He has eaten at McDonald’s(no bun, and the fryers are separate from things like nuggets), but almost every time he goes there, he gets sick. *Never once* has he ever gotten sick from Burnside Pizzeria! He just tells them he has Celiac Disease and they seem to take all the right precautions. He has even brought stuff home for the rest of our family and I don’t get sick either(I get horrible headaches and nausea from gluten). Not only that, but the gf donairs and gf garlic fingers are fantastic. I have never had the gf pizza, but my husband has. He said it’s alright. It’s a little dry. Best of all(in my opinion) is the price. You can get a whole donair platter thing for $ 5(medium) or $ 10(large). We fed our whole family(us, and my two kids) for $ 20. When my husband goes to McDonald’s, he spends $ 17 on just himself(he said there’s not enough food… ugh). I hate eating out because I’m cheap and we’re poor, but if I do eat out, I always want Burnside Pizzeria because they’re so fair with their prices AND they have gluten free food! :) The only major downside is that if my husband forgets his lunch, it’s rare that he goes to Burnside Pizzeria because THEY’RESOBUSY. He said he doesn’t get a long enough lunch to get food from there. So I get pretty upset if he forgets his lunch. LOL

Ignore the name. Pizza is pizza, right? What you need to do is order a salad. My favorite is the greek chicken. It’s built to order. Regular greens, extra cucumber, tomato, and feta topped with lovely shaved chicken. No dressing — even though the owner exclaims every time that that’s just not right. Unless you say no there’s a nice one or two garlic fingers on top. It’s perfect and delicious and custom for you. I haven’t tried the pizza because I keep coming back for the salad. And maybe the men. Not sure why, but there male/female ration is a little out of proportion here at every lunch. Expect 3 – 4 men for every woman in the place. No eye candy, just sheer numbers. The lines can be long if you land right at noon, too. The prices can be a little variable at this family business. Mum makes the salads or the greek plates, Dad works the cash. Daughter is the manager. It’s really an all in the family business.

Dropped in here for a quick bite for dinner one night and was surprised at the options. Two slices of any pizza cooked and a drink for under $ 8 works for me in a pinch! There are plenty of menu options, subs, donair egg rolls, salads, paninis, donairs, fish and chips, pasta, poutine, onion rings, fries, chicken fingers or wings and some great looking Lebanese fare. I can only talk about the pizza, and it was alright. Pizza appears to be made as they need it and wasn’t fresh from the oven when we arrived for dinner, but it was reheated before serving to us. And for 8 $ I really couldn’t complain. It was tasty and hit the spot. Service was all behind the counter and friendly and prompt. We ate in and grabbed a booth which was clean and tidy. All in a all a good quick meal option and appears to be a mainstay for Burnside lunches.

I have been coming to this family establishment for some time now and love the lunch special(2 slices and a drink). The food was always delicious and and after I became a regular there was always a little extra thrown on, something you don’t get for chains. Abe runs the cash and always is glad to see me and jab me with a few jokes. great spot but get there early om most days as the line goes out the door

Burnside Park well I get lost in. One place that I will remember is the Burnside Pizzeria. Now is this going to be a huge review well no it is a small pizza place that will serve you up some hot fresh tasty pizza and all for a good price. $ 7.45. you ask, well that will get you 2 slices large ones at that. We got works and one pepperoni which the BF said was delicious and a pop. The works actually had toppings on it, I know. And guess what else it was fresh. lol If you are in the Park and lost stop and ask for the Burnside Pizzeria someone with show you the way.
