Was given a quote then charged more than double. The most expensive mani/pedi I’ve ever had. And to top it all off when I questioned the price they all started speaking in another language and laughing at me. The owner pretended not to be the owner and told me there was no way I could speak to him? I will never go back here! They also re-used the toe dividers! Hope mine didn’t have a trace of athletes foot!

I have been going to Jenny to get a mani pedi for over a year and I find her to be excellent. She remembers my details and is an excellent artist. Customer service is excellent. I give Jenny 5 stars.

Good nails but typical bait and switch. «Manager’s Special» on the board said«Pedicure + Manicure & Gel polish» $ 65. I asked for a color change but knew they’d charge me for a full mani+pedi as soon as they started the unsolicited massage, which was fine given the special on the board. Unfortunately, when I went to pay, the $ 65 «special» was suddenly $ 95. I paid and still tipped — but, upon leaving and seeing the sign again, I had to say something. The girls claimed that the special clearly stated pedicure(polish not included) + manicure(AND gel polish). What? Anyway, very frustrating when the English language is misinterpreted so freely. Especially frustrating when all I wanted was a color change and was only ok with the upgrade at the advertised price. Buyer beware, I suppose.

I work in a spa in Whistler where significant attention is put on excellent service. Because we can’t always make time to trade services I like to make time to receive nail treatments while I am down in the city. I normally head to a sweet little spot near 4th and Macdonald where I am given amazing service. Today, though I found it easier to hit up this nail salon in Park Royal since my car had broken down nearby. I was incredibly disappointed by the service. I’m doubt it was not intentionally rude however it was certainly unfriendly and very very rushed. For me getting my nails done is also about relaxation and there is none to be found in this environment. Upon asking the price for ManiPedi combo I was told $ 50 which I found very reasonable. I asked to upgrade only my toes to gel polish expecting the usual $ 15 upgrade. Upon being rung out at $ 80 I learned that to upgrade the toes is $ 30 and to upgrade the hands is $ 20. The spa I work at in Whistler that charges $ 150 for a ManiPedi combo doesn’t even charge that much for an upgrade. I’m thankful for my treatment yet still disappointed in the service considering it is far from what I am used to.
