This is a great chip wagon — friendly staff, good food. What more can I say?

So I have past Claude’s Chip Wagon a few times now when I go down Ogilvie Rd and have made a mental note to stop by when I had time. Over the weekend a few of us wanted something for dinner and was craving some poutine and my mind was like Claude’s CHip Wagon! I finally tried it this weekend and split a large poutine with my friend. The chips were cooked perfectly, the gravy was delicious and the curds were squeaky. There was also a sign that they will be hosting a pig roast on April 28th. I am going to try and make it and if I do I will edit this post!

The food is great! I love the fact that the fries are homemade. The staff is very friendly and effective. It’s hard to believe that there are so many workers in that small trailer, they are very prolific. This place is quite busy, especially during the lunch hour and when the weather is nice. Despite that, the food is served quickly and it tastes great. Highly recommended for a quick junk food fix if you are in the area!

A popular road side«chip stop» serving Fries with Poutine. Based on the summer traffic and the advice of locals, kinda figured it was a popular enough place. A nice filling afternoon snack! Maybe too filling.
