I would rather buy a pack of cigarettes and smoke it all before eating here again. Stay away from any thing that is fried there. The service was mediocre. Price was too much for the quality of food.

I’ve been there a few times in the past 4 months and I get a milkshake every single time. They have the best milkshake that I have ever had. Parking’s great. They have their own parking lot and it’s very spacious. There are tables inside and outside, so it’s very accommodating. They also have a play structure for kids right outside, which would be a fun place for the children to have fun while the guardians finish eating. They have a decent menu with lots of options. The restaurant surprised me since it serve regular fast food as well as Chinese food. I’ve never tried the fast food(except the milkshake), but the Chinese food is great! They give big portions and the 2 options combo can easily feed 2 adults. Personally, I find that it’s a little expensive, but others may find that the price is very reasonable.(Ex. 5 $ for a large milkshake, 13 $ for a 2 options combo) Overall, it’s a pretty great place!

It had been too long since being here. Great to stop in for supper! Slow weekday evening. Food is still delicious. Would have loved to grab a poutine as well but the Chinese food was already too much!

We stopped by here because my sister was craving ice cream, but we ended up ordering a poutine instead. I was surprised to find out they serve Chinese food too! Since it was our first time here we took a while to choose what we wanted, and when we finally settled I felt the person behind the counter was annoyed that we took so long. Anyways after our order was ready we were talking and we didn’t hear it being called. When I did get the poutine from the guy, he wasn’t really nice about it. They were pretty busy so maybe that’s why he was annoyed, but I don’t think that should be an excuse. The food: Poutine was fresh, and hot so had to wait a little to eat it. I thought the cheese was delicious, but did not like the gravy. The fries were average. Price: Paid $ 9.48, I thought it was way overpriced. Atmosphere: Diner, clean and neat. The three star review is for average poutine, and the fact that the service was not good.

— came here for poutine on some recos from friends — did not disappoint — $ 9 for the large(which will feed 2 people easy). — delish. they got the gravy down pat!!! — being a family run chinese food joint, the fact that they do poutine really well is amazing. no idea how the chinese food is though…

I’ve been here a few times. I was attracted to this place because you can order Chinese & Canadian food at the same place. Their Poutine is to die for! The Chinese Food is OK, with vey low prices, but they don’t’ give you a lot of food in the combos. Their delivery is quick. Chips & Dairy is usually very busy, which is a good sign, but you can be waiting in line for a while.

Nothing special about the décor and ambiance. Never tried the poutine, ice cream or milk shakes but the Chinese food is pretty good. Considering there are not too many Chinese food joints in this area of Ottawa, this place gets great bang for your buck! Recommended.

Where else can you find a chip truck menu with Chinese food and be able to eat it inside in an air conditioned dining area? Food is good and priced reasonable. Portions are generous. They also serve milk shakes and ice cream as well. Surprisingly general Taos chicken and poutine go well together. For children a small playground can be found outside.

This is a traditional old-school diner that has the usual burgers, milkshakes, fries and the like. However, in an odd and unexpected twist, they also present Chinese food! Not sure how this happens, as this place does NOT look like a place that would serve chinese food(it looks like an all-American casual diner), but I think the ownership is now East Asian, as the friendly people behind the counter would suggest. Anyways, I went with the traditional burger, fries and chocolate shake combo, and it was good and filling. The fries were a bit too greasy for my liking, but I guess thats expected. My buddy though went with Shanghai noodles and chicken stirfry, which he was raving about. Each combo went for about $ 9-$ 10, which I found to be a bit steep. The interior was nothing special, no efforts to try to be retro or themed, which was fine by me, since the food was good and filling!
