Not sure why it gets such rave reviews. The management changed about a year ago. The food is ok. I’ve had much better fish and chips elsewhere. I thought it was a bit on the expensive side. The fries were terrible. The sockeye salmon was not bad. The cod was probably the star of the show. Calamari was ok. Oysters were ok.

If you like fish and chips, then you need to stop at Cod Fathers. The fish is moist and cooked perfectly, and the lemon aoli tartar sauce is perfect with the fish. The fries are not greasy, the coleslaw is made fresh that day, and the staff are happy to see you.

Really great fish and chips! We had the Mama’s Special — the sauces are all made fresh and so good. We ate outside, so bring a jacket. The service is the best!

Excellent fish. Very high quality. My son was in heaven with the cod burger. Home made buns. Good value. Highly recommended.
