We went to this bakery every day for five days. Excellent: cinnamon buns(had them cut into four — generous!), amazing organic multigrain sourdough, vegetarian yum wrap, calzones, butter chicken samosas, muffins, kaiser buns, croissants. Went there on my way off the island and bought six loaves of bread for my freezer. Wish I’d bought more.

We came here for dinner on our way back to the ferry(there’s a bakery storefront and a restaurant storefront, as far as I can tell — we ate at the restaurant). The wait staff was very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised to find lots of gluten free options, including gluten free pizza crust. The restaurant is open later than some of the other meal options in the area, so if you’re headed to a late-ish ferry, this is a good spot for a stop.

Very disappointed with their meat pies. We ordered two chicken and one beef(price was more than $ 6 each!) and none had any substantial bits of meat, the pastry was good though.

Good coffee and good pastries. However, the chicken samosa I had tasted like used gym socks.

Great little place, in the little village close to the ferry terminal. She makes her own Nettle Tea from Galiano Island nettles(no stingers in it, I asked). And great REALLYREALLYBIG cinnamon buns. Order one half to eat there and one half to take for lunch. Local hangout, seems to be the place to catch up on island news.

Went back to Galiano and since town is just a few quaint shops, I found myself here again for a drink. This time, at the suggestion of the lady at the counter I had an apple smoothie… you wouldnt normally think to go for this, but she convinced me it was the one to have… it was f*&(ing amazing… it needed that expletive! Made of fresh local apples off the branch minutes away, it tastes like the most amazing drinkable apple pie off the tree… and was so cold and delicious on that hot day. I love this place!
