Wow, two separate lunch sittings here and tried something different each time and wow, is this place was an amazing find! Really enjoyed the food and the hospitality was phenomenal. Energy is upbeat, warm and welcome. With vibrant colourful and changing art on the walls, atmosphere is lovely. At the same time it’s a community favourite with many locals coming in for takeout or dining in with some delicious food paired with good conversation. As visitors to the island it’s exactly where we wanted to be.
Highly recommend pulled pork tortillas with local pickled jalapeños! I could eat loads of these! Pizzas are unreal, classic flavours available but we LOVED the satay chicken and ‘get fresh’ veggie to which we added chicken. You cannot go wrong with this tasty eatery serving pizza, tacos and tapas! Thanks to the owner for her charm and chef skills!

This place is an absolute gem of a find!
The food is amazing! I would recommend traveling to Galiano island just to come to eat at Babes! The BBQ pork pizza is like a little taste of heaven, a must have!
The atmosphere is homey and friendly, you can tell they love what they do and you can taste the love in every bite of their food.
They are small and don’t have a large staff so sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but once you taste the food you will know it was worth every second.

Excellent, thin crust pizza. You can do half-​half orders so you can get two sets of toppings on one pizza. We ordered one pizza — half peanut satay with chicken and half Canadian bacon and pineapple. We really enjoyed both, but especially the satay. Chef/​owner is very friendly. I would definitely come again!
