Richard has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. He is a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and has over 30 years of experience working with a variety of clients and issues. Richard offers a professional client-​centered, solution focused approach towards helping clients identify and resolve their issues. He has particular expertise working with men, including issues such as addictions, relationships and meaning and purpose. He also has specialized training, both professionally working with couples and families and personally as a father and husband. He focuses on working to improve meaningful communication, fostering forgiveness, speaking from the heart and supporting the expression of needs between couples and family members. He also deeply appreciates the importance that spirituality can play in some clients’ lives and is open to supporting this orientation.
