Urban Barn

A great experience at Urban Barn. The team at Queen Street West was fantastic, showing us some great options for our bedroom suite. We happened to be out in Etobicoke, so ordered from that store — also very helpful. I ordered on Monday and the furniture was delivered Thursday. I got a call and a text providing me with a 2 hour window for delivery and the delivery team called 30 minutes ahead of time to say they were on their way. Avenue Moving who delivered the furniture was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and very careful moving the new furniture into a small space. I hope the furniture is as good as the experience has been so far. Would definitely recommend Urban Barn and Avenue Moving.

Worst service ever. I was searching for a mirror that was sold out online. I found out the etobicoke location had one. Called the store, spoke to a sales associate who knew there was 1 in a box in the back. I needed it held for 10 days until i could get a cube van for pick up. She said it was long than their policy and she would get in trouble, but she would accommodate me. We agreed i would go to the store that evening to pay for it. Upon arrival there i was told they could not hold it because of inventory on Monday. The associate got the manager who told me the same thing. I said, «so you are going to turn down a $ 300 sale because you don’t want to NOT count 1 7ft tall mirror»? He said «yes». So, here’s a lesson to you Urban Barn district manager — your etobicoke location staff are under terrible management, and there is such a thing as a DNI sticker. It doesn’t take a genius to know what that is. And maybe consider training your staff on how to save a sale, or offer to find it at another location. Pretty basic stuff. Shameful to call yourselves «Proudly Canadian» with egotistical staff members like that. One very loud customer lost.

I would give zero stars if I could.
The sales associate at this store will tell you anything you want to hear just to get their commission, even though it may not be the truth.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Unfortunately I let myself get fooled the second time. However, before diving in further with that sour taste in my mouth, I cancelled my $ 2000+ order.
Really hope someone comes in and replaces the majority of their staff at this store.

Nice store, cool stuff but customer service? Not so much. When a piece we wanted was out of stock the salesperson offered to sell us the broken display model. Had to be prompted to check other locations. Then, we were told delivery for this small wall graphic would be $ 90! Their standard shipping rate.
