Six Points Plaza

So I live downtown but was staying at a friend’s place that is super close to this plaza. Initially I’d thought I’d have to head elsewhere for groceries etc, given the design (you can’t actually see all the stores unless you’re coming at the plaza by car from the east). Lo and behold there’s a Starbucks, Phở House is good, as well. Always busy clean décor and lots of variety… there’s also a Panago Pizza Place, a make your own wine store, a mani/​pedi place, a convenience store (with a nice guy who is great at cutting keys properly), a Shoppers Drug Mart (that also stocks groceries — milk, cereals, bread, frozen foods), as well as a Shoppers Home Health Care (supplies things like walkers etc) and the suburban equivalent of my beloved Bloor St. Fruit Market — same good prices (the only thing I don’t like here is that if something is 2 for $ 1, individually it’s not 50 cents –however they do post the individual pricing on all the signs) great variety AND they also take debit (not just cash like the place near me). Plus they’re open from 8:30 to 8:30. Actually, I think this place surpasses Bloor Fruit. Bulk Barn — love! Great for stocking up on many of the same brands I buy at the health food store, hemp protein drink powder, green drink powder, apple butter (with only apples and baking soda as ingredients) etc etc. There’s an M&M meat shop, another restaurant or two, and a BMO. Oh, and a really nice looking fancy-​ish bakery called Bake Sale Toronto. This is a super handy plaza with lots of options.

PHO HOUSE is the worst PHO in Etobicoke/​Toronto; highly avoid!!!
The Shoppers is great; 24 hrs!!!
Bulk Barn BLOWS, so expensive, go to No Frills for most of that stuff; way cheaper.
There is a lame bar and dollar store (s), overpriced Fruit Market. Busy Starbucks on the corner, and a revolving pizza joint (usually out of business…).
Drive down the street to MEKONG RIVER if you want PHO; PHO HOUSE is awful.

six points plaza falled flat… nothing great about it!

I’ll admit that it’s a ratty looking plaza but on the flip side, Six Points Plaza has most of my basic needs covered.
— First thing would be the location, which is right outside of Kipling Subway station. If you’ve ever lived or ventured to this neck of the woods you’d know that this is the biggest cluster of convenient stores until you hit either Cloverdale Mall at the 427 or the Kingsway strip!
— The store round up begins with the ever so convenient ²⁴⁄₇ Shoppers Drug Mart complete with a post office.
— Next we have Starbucks and if you prefer a more Cannock roast Timmies is three doors down from the plaza.
— A super friendly BMO is added to the mix.
— Recently a Bulk Barn has come in to replace the now defunct Blockbuster.
— A tasty hidden gem bakery
— A superb fruit and veggie market
— Hidden around the corner is both a pet store and a Dominos Pizza.
