City Taxi

I had booked a pickup for 645 in the morning using the App and the driver arrived about shortly after 640 which was good. I wasn’t going that far but he was very friendly and professional. I had asked about Kingsboro asking if City Taxi had absorbed Kingsboro and he had answered that they were one of the same now.
Kingsboro really serviced Etobicoke before but now the company was huge with a fleet from both companies combined but my driver knew Etobicoke well.
The ride was short (only about 8 km away) but it was enjoyable and it was not awkward having a nice conversation with the friendly driver.
I know many cabbies and cab companies are getting a bad reputation these days but not all of them are unkind and unprofessional. I know my recent experience was very positive and I will use them again if needed since the app is easy to use.

If you like being stranded this is the taxi company for you! We called them and told them the exact intersection we were at, and a landmark there to meet us. They said a cab was on the way but gave us no ETA. We waited 20 minutes in the cold and then called them to inquire about where our cab was, and they said THEY HAD NO RECORD OF OUR CALL! The person on their end of the phone was very rude to us, and hung up on us. Never call these guys… We ended up calling Beck. Nice work City!
