This place has been here as long as this mall has been in existence. A thrifty dollar store, most items are around a dollar but rarely equal or less than a dollar. There are no brand names you’d easily recognize but this little shop stocks everything you may need in a clutch, from cards in the back, to q tips in the centre to gloves in the front. I believe this is still a cash operation though they have in the Last few years installed a credit card machine. Quality of items doesn’t seem to be high but you aren’t going there for quality, you are going g there for a bargain. Though. for a dollar store some items there can be fairly long lasting/useful(ie some ornament stuff I bought here and used through my time living in London, ont and still have… all bought for a couple dollars). The reality though is that this mom and pop store being around still is a wonder in itself. With the number of walmarts or dollaramas popping up, this niche business must still exist due to it’s historic presence or because of this plazas unique location. Either way it gets my business for those last minute cards or those little black gloves that are almost skin like… you know what I’m talking about… don’t you?
