My husband had his windshield replaced and noticed that the weather stripping made noise and it leaked. However they replaced the windshield with no hassle! The windshield looks amazing and I’m sure it will be great now :) Exceptional service and staff friendly :)

Mauricio at the 13 803 127Street location is a great worker, he fixed up a rock chip on my brand new Mazda’s windshield this morning and did a great job.
That was not my first visit there, a few months ago they’ve replaced a windshield on my other vehicle at almost half the price what other glass places have quoted me, just great prices and customer service.

I have a newer Ford Ranger. When it was a few months old I got a rock chip right beside the molding which quickly spread across the whole windshield. I got it replaced at a cost of $ 440.00 at a well known auto glass place. It cost a lot because it had the dot matrix on the top that spelled «Ranger «. Less than a week later the lower molding had curled up and water was getting in so I took it back and they told me that it was typical of Ford vehicles for this to happen. (!!!) They fixed it again and when I picked it up a day later I noticed someone had left a 3» long cut in the head cover right beside the top of the windshield. (Most likely the work of an exacto knife) Also the inside molding on the driver’s side that has the little handle on it was pealed off from top to bottom ! I turned around, took it back and showed them. Now they had to order a new head cover and it had to come from the U.S. I was told. 2 weeks later the head cover arrived and I was asked to bring my truck back. This all happened in March, so there was still snow and it was still cold out and I was always taking taxis back and forth to these guys after my work day. Anyway, I take it back. A day later they say I can pick it up. I got it back and a few days later the molding that had mysteriously come off on the driver’s side on the inside where the little handle is, comes off again. I intended to take it back to them when I had the time but sure as heck I get yet another rock chip that spreads across the whole windshield again. (Ugh !!) This time I had had enough. Didn’t care to pay another $ 440.00 for a window and have all these problems with the install all over again. I knew there was a Windshield Surgeon place by the Tim Hortons I always went to, so I went there. Showed them my windshield, told them about my previous experiences and asked if they could install a garden variety window for my particular truck. They said yes. They took my truck in right away and installed a new one for $ 189.00. This windshield has been on my truck 3 years now and it’s taken a few rocks along the way but it’s still okay. It was done quickly, efficiently and the guy who put it in was friendly and sympathetic toward my predicament. All I had to do was go have a coffee and it was done ! Go figure, the least expensive windshield, took the least amount of time to install and it’s still in use ! Thanks Guys ! It was such a relief to have my window replaced and not have to worry about anything. I would recommend Windshield Surgeons to everyone.

I never would have expected replacing a windshield would be so easy. Maurizio (manager) provided me updates and friendly customer service as I waited. My windshield was unique and quite hard to find in the city. I did have to wait a bit for the supplier to deliver the windshield. .but it was already expected. As a goodwill gesture Maurizio swapped a new set of wipers for me (a nice surprise). Highly recommended! Won’t hesitate to bring my 2013 Elantra GT here in the future! Great job!

I got there about 20 minutes to closing. That morning a rock had chipped my windscreen right in the middle and I was not ok with it. My biggest fear was it splitting and having to replace the whole thing because of where it was.
He came outside to meet me, there was only one person working, before I was even out of my car. And for less than $ 35 and 15 minutes of my time I was done. The chip is barely visible!
Next rock chip and I will be back. Though, I wouldn’t be sad if I never got another rock chip again.

I had a rock chip that I wanted repaired on Friday so I decided to go to Windshield Surgeons. The price was $ 30 which seemed reasonable and they got me in immediately to have it repaired. After he was done he asked me to come out to my car to ‘show me something’ while repairing the chip my windshield cracked and he offered to fix the cracks and not charge me anything. They drilled two holes on either end of the crack to stop it from spreading and filled them. The following day the cracks spread on BOTH sides of the repair. I went to talk to them about it and they said that they would replace my windshield for $ 189 plus tax. I feel that they did not do a proper job stopping the crack that they started and think it is unfair that I am expected to pay $ 200 for a new windshield when a few days ago it was just a rock chip. After talking to the regional manager in the store he said that because I wasn’t charged for the original repair it was unreasonable that I wanted a new windshield for a free ‘service’. I said this sort of thing doesn’t usually happen when you get a chip repaired and that really upset him, he asked me if I worked in the glass industry and how I would know that if I didn’t. He said this sort of thing happens all the time, I’ve never heard of something like this happening, maybe with windshield surgeons it happens a lot. The cracks would be understandable if it happened after a few months and maybe just on one side but when it happens within 24hrs on BOTH cracks they tried to fix it seems like they didn’t do a very good job and they do not stand behind their work. I will be avoiding this company and I recommend you do the same thing… VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

My husband’s Jeep was in dire need of a new windshield. Years of use, driving on gravel roads and the joys of highway driving behind large tractor trailers put a spider web design in his windshield. Needless to say it was not safe driving it with impaired sight lines. We checked around for pricing and service quality and settled on the Windshield Surgeons. Of course, I’m left undertaking booking the appointment, taking the Jeep up and getting home and driving the Jeep is a bit of a challenge for short legs (gotta love double clutching), but I made it there and back just fine.
I didn’t have to wait long for a new windshield to be installed. To be honest it was nice to get out of the house, have a coffee and wait. The techs were prompt, the service good and the warranty sound. Yes, I see the irony on the warranty part, but it’s there for installation and manufacturer defect.
