Really hard working movers. Great experience with them.

Reading previous reviews and they are still horrible. Hired a different moving company for a short 10k move. They then third partied the move to Two small men, they proceeded to lose items and damage brand new appliances, when I say brand new I don’t mean that they were a couple weeks old and moved from one location to the next. I’m talking brand new had them pick them up from Sears still in the box brand new. The movers removed the box prior to entering new place and the furniture dolly that was used dented each side of the fridge. They then proceeded to deny any hand in the damage until dolly matched up to the damage. They also unboxed the brand new range and got rid of the box with the range leveling legs still in the box. No one ever asked them to unbox any of the appliances. After all of this the claims lady is completely unhelpful and they only want to cover 60cents a pound for any damage so $ 180 for a $ 2200 dollar fridge. There is more but all I have to say is never use them to move anything they play by their own rules.

I have moved this furniture from Toronto to Montréal, from Montréal to Toronto, and from Toronto to Edmonton without damage. These folks moved my furniture 2 km“s and damaged much of the wooden furniture and an expensive couch.
They reimbursed me for 2 items, a token sum, but since then have refused to return my calls. They, obviously, don’t care about customer satisfaction.
I am willing to discuss some settlement for the damaged furniture, but no one will respond.
You might say, they did a «bang-​up job,» because they banged up and scraped so many items.
If you want a good move, look elsewhere. That’s my advice.

I hired this company on September 28, 2013 and my experience was horrible. I moved from a one bedroom apartment on the south side to an even smaller condo downtown. I had everything packed and they complained about how heavy stuff was the entire time. When it came time to move my couch they said it wouldn’t fit in the elevator and ‘no moving company in edmonton would move my couch past 4 floors.’ I live on the 8^th floor. They told me the only way they would do it is ‘if I took care of them.’. I felt extremely taken advantage of. Of course they wanted a huge tip in the end for doing their job — moving my stuff. Zero star rating. I have yet to receive an apology from this company.

We just moved from Gibbons, AB to Calgary, AB. The movers were so nice and respectful of our belongings. Nothing was broken (not anything that mattered anyways). But was extremely disappointed when our belongings didn’t fit on their truck and they didn’t have any way to get the rest to Calgary. We didn’t even need to take our upstairs living room furniture or the basement furniture, yet they were told it’s a 3 bedroom house with basement and shed. So my husband had to rent a UHaul and drive back to Gibbons (4 hour drive) and pack/​clean (because we couldn’t do it the day before with stuff still inside) and then he drove back to Calgary the same day. The movers labelled boxes very vague, but didn’t even try putting them in the correct rooms let alone the correct floor. They were fast but not accurate. We were not offered any discount or compensation for the extra cost it would be for the rental, gas and extra day my husband was off work to go do this.

Moving from edmonton to bc and i was quoted $ 2500…
The load went fine. At unload they demanded $ 4500 CASH up front and would not accept anything else. Unprepared, they left with my stuff and proceeded to «store it»
They held it ransom for the move of $ 4500 + the additional storage fees!
$ 10,000 later, a lawyer, a failed lawsuit because I didnt have more money to pursue. Stuff broken and had to pay for a different mover.

So since I have moved for work a lot I have had many experiences with different moving companies and still haven’t found one I will use again. This company so far has been the worst. First of all they showed up late to my apartment then got in an argument with my landlord about the service elevator.
I was moving from a two bedroom apartment and had moved a lot of the smaller stuff myself so all that was left was basically furniture. I was told straight out by them that if my Ikea bookshelves are damaged in any way they are not responsible (funny because they moved 3 other times before that and were totally fine).
Long story short, it took twice as long as I was quoted much thanks to the many cigarette and coffee breaks the guys took on my time. There was a swearing match with my neighbors at my new place (way to get off on a good start). My brand new bed frame was completely scratched and damaged (not from Ikea… but they wouldn’t confess to it). I heard them drop a few boxes on the ground multiple times.
Needless to say, I know how to pack well and every box that they moved had broken items in it. When I called the company to complain, nothing was ever done about it and they said they were not responsible for my «Ikea furniture» which is funny since the only thing from Ikea was the bookshelves that were completely broken in the short time they were in the truck.
It is said because the Edmonton BBB rated them as consumers choice for that year.
